Putin is NOT crazy and the Russian invasion is NOT failing.
Daily Mail ^ | 3/2/2022 | Bill Roggio

Sympathy for the outnumbered and outgunned defenders of Kyiv has led to the exaggeration of Russian setbacks, misunderstanding of Russian strategy, and even baseless claims from amateur psychoanalysts that Putin has lost his mind.

A more sober analysis shows that Russia may have sought a knockout blow, but always had well-laid plans for follow-on assaults if its initial moves proved insufficient.

"Why didn’t Ukraine extract it?"

Because it was only discovered just before Russia invaded the Crimean Peninsula. Do a web search if you're interested. This has been well documented by news articles so I don't need to explain it further. Do a web search if you want more detail.

The Russians controlled all of eastern Europe for 50 years and the various soviet states for a few more. There was a lot of hate toward the Russians then but they kept the lid on quite effectively for most of that time. Hungary and the Czechs tried a break and were beaten down. They know how to repress and control a population.

Putin dies and maybe it all comes apart again.

We keep them in the energy business they will have the money no matter who’s in charge. Plenty of guns and caviar instead of butter.

I think the real question might be, have the sanctions driven Putin and China even closer and helped enable the emergence of the Yuan as a secondary reserve currency. The same Davos crowd that brought us COVID seemed to go out of its way to make this into something it wasn’t.

I wouldn’t know what to make of Ukraine’s leadership, since it was installed under America’s last fake President.

Yeah, I was thinking some snipers sniping at the fuel trucks would have been a pretty big hindrance to the overall war effort, but what do I know?

Thanks. So the first stage is just a ?rocket plunger? that we still see firing in the picture? It tossed the missile out, like a sabot?

I’d tell you that there is gas in Ukraine but it isn’t worth extraction because the investments are always raided by connected individuals.

Afghanistan has a long history of being easily conquered, but impossible to control for very long.

The more rugged the terrain, the more independent-minded the population.

Afghanistan, Switzerland, Catalonia, Ancient Israel, "hillbillies" in the American southeast all come to mind.

The Crimean gas fields were in the process of being developed but the instability after Russia seize the Crimean peninsula put a hold on everything. Until Putin undeniably controls all of Ukraine he cannot get investment to help him exploit the gas fields.

Thank you! I think I saw little trails of smoke still coming from the tail of the missile or out of the tube front in some of the shots.

You can’t rule a country for 300 years if the whole country hates the occupiers.

Nazi collaborators? Heck there are always exceptions.
USA had them, Britain had them, France had them. That does NOT mean all those countries hate Germany.

Britain ruled their crown jewel colony of India for 150 years. Finally in 1947 the British were thrown out. But that does not mean all Indians hate the British. There is a large trade between them and Indians were given special privileges as part of commonwealth countries. But the very fact that British could last 150 years in India was because they were not hated by majority of Indians.

Ukraine was estimated to possess natural gas reserves of over 1 trillion cubic meters, and was ranked 26th among countries with proved reserves of natural gas before Crimea was annexed by the Russian Federation in 2014. Its total gas reserves have been estimated at 5.4 trillion cubic meters.

I believe it IS a LIBERATION assault. All I needed to know is George Soros wants Ukraine to prevail. He is truly the most despicable criminal in the world. He and the Obama-Biden mafia have been ripping off the people of Ukraine for many years.
