There are almost no people that I trust in high levels of government in all NATO countries or Russia. Zelensky has some impressive personal qualities but who knows what went on there in the last few years. Now we have this looming slaughter on a large scale and the real possibility of nuclear war.
Ridiculous that it should come to this over the sorts of issues that have been raised, on both sides.
We can only hope and pray that “thy kingdom come” is the solution. Put not your trust in earthly princes.
Is a plan to depopulate the earth with only a select few to survive being launched? You have to wonder what is the interconnection of COVID and Ukraine. If so, who do you suppose would come through it alive? There are few plausible nuclear targets in the southern hemisphere, or south of the tropic of Cancer for that matter, so it might be best to head in that direction. If there was a massive nuclear exchange, huge radiation problems would quickly spread around most populated areas of the northern hemisphere but the way the earth’s climate works, only limited amounts would get into the tropics and even less into the southern temperate zones.
