Your are right, Ukraine is almost certain to lose.
But that is why it is so stunningly brave. Watching patriots grab weapons and go and fight for their country in a cause they know they are likely doomed is one of the most courageous acts in recent history.
I only wish that Americans would love their country enough to fight for it as bravely.

Putin wants to create an expanded Russia with BialoRUS and little RUS (Ukraine) merged with Muscowy. He was always going to do this.
In fairness, that is a bit of a misleading stat (though the point is still valid). Unless Russia drives an attack sub onto land and starts firing torpedoes at Ukrainian forces, or decides to just annihilate it with Topol-M ICBMs, most of that money is spent on weapons that are not relevant to this battle.
