Your are right, Ukraine is almost certain to lose.
But that is why it is so stunningly brave. Watching patriots grab weapons and go and fight for their country in a cause they know they are likely doomed is one of the most courageous acts in recent history.
I only wish that Americans would love their country enough to fight for it as bravely.

The Ukies may surrender rather than see the city destroyed. The Russians may decide they don’t want the urban casualties.

Actually, they did fight. In 1776 and 1861 and we killed pretty close to a million of ourselves with both wars.
These poor fools in Ukraine are being used as pawns of the West and dying for it. This will not end well for them contrary to the great propaganda hustled by the west. It may not end well for us either when it cost $200 to fill up your car or our shelves are bare because we can’t grow food because there is no fertilizer.
