According to the left, asking questions = support for Putin. Some of us are just very suspicious about the lockstep, uncritical, way in which the media are presenting this, complete with blatant propaganda and false narratives. I would be much happier if Putin had never made this move, and it is clear that the globalists are lining up to turn it to their advantage.

Yesterday I had a long talk with an old friend of mine who was a Soviet paratrooper on the other side of the Iron Curtain while I was stationed in Berlin.

He told me nearly verbatim what this article says regarding the Russian (Soviet) state of mind regarding Ukraine. He also called those demonstrating against the war as being “right wing” - basically calling all who disagree with Putin as “right wing”. Even the Azov Brigade is considered “right wing” in Russia.

Does this mean that they think they are the core of left wing?

Not exactly groundbreaking news to anyone whose been paying attention to Ukraine for the past ten years. Talk of establishing Novorossiya have been circulating since at least 2014 in various forms, and the take described in Red State seems like another variation of the theme.
