Russia is not our enemy. Biden made America Russias enemy. this is a Biden induced war which could have been easily avoided.
if you don't like the Ukraine invasion - blame Biden.
If you don't like the Covid flu - blame China. Not the unvaccinated.
The MSM hypnotizes and brainwashes the masses.

I love Russian rifles. Still lukewarm on Russian designs made in America, though.

Hangover is least when the distilling columns are the biggest — some of cheapest spirits are made in huge American distilleries.

Mr. Putin put his missile forces on alert.

Oh, noes! Probably just means they’re drinking more coffee.

I used a lot of Stoli in the ‘80s to make Florida orange juice palatable. Good stuff.

I’ve been thinking about that and here’s my theory.
Fauxci was running a lab in the US that even DARPA didn’t want.
Fauxi moved his carnival of terror to Canada and they told him to GTFO.
Oh where oh where can I move this carnival of terror?
I know, we can relocate it to China.
You know the best place to build a level 4 bio containment lab.
With their high level of engineering and safety we’ll be fine.
They can’t condem the Chinese because we funded it.

“Oh, noes! Probably just means they’re drinking more coffee.”

Putin saying this is the nation-state level equivalent of your neighbor loading a rifle, chambering a round, and aiming at you and then saying he’s going to shoot if you don’t give him what he wants.

Yuck it up if that makes you feel better but the reality is that right now a lot of people in the USA and elsewhere are preparing to kill a lot of people in Russia if Putin makes good on his threats.

Anita Bryant was all I needed to enjoy buying and drinking Florida orange juice!

That’s the best you got for insults? Come on, you can do better than that.

Those missiles are always aimed at us. And whomever else.

I once intervened in a chicken-sh*t burglary by a couple of punks. I had my dog with me. When we got close to the punks in the bushes, the big punk said ”If you don’t turn your dog loose, I won’t shoot him.” So, I went over and took away his rifle.

Unless Putin has a death sentence(cancer?) hanging over his head, and has completely lost his mind, he won’t launch nukes. As far as putting the other missiles on alert, it’s a given when he mobilized troops. Saying that he’s done it is likely as far as the escalation goes.

Where a missile is aimed is a matter of programming software. And at this point in time these targeting packages can be selected in moments. It’s not like the old days when targeting was a much more complicated process.

But putting those forces “on alert” means a lot of actions are taking place.

The last time Putin made a lot of actions happen he joked about, some idiots on FR joked about it, and then Putin’s forces invaded Ukraine.

If the man who is right now waging a war is making nuclear threats then only a fool or a troll will say not to take those threats seriously.

I’m an American. I don’t have Russian rifles.... I have American rifles.

Lucky for you that you were talking about rifles, and NOT handguns! Sure as shootin', you would have pissed off all of the Glock fans, AND the SIG fans, AND the CZ fans, AND the FN/Browning fans, AND the Beretta fans, AND the Manurhin fans, etc., etc., etc...

;>)

Yeah...”aimed at” was a verbal shortcut.

OK. Put you’re sphincters on DEFCON 2. That’s the effect Putin is looking for. I’d save the histrionics for when Iran gets nukes. They may not have a warning /alert system.

Putin misjudged this whole boondoggle much the same as Saddam Hussein screwed the pooch when he thought it was okay to invade Kuwait.

Lots of similarities here in thinking and in doctrine. Hopefully we get to the same outcomes, too.

Yup. Most of the Russian titles in America are Soviet era. Russia’s not making money on them. In fact, they were exported at a loss during the End of the Cold War fire sale. As far as Russian ammo goes, the US military may be their largest single customer, domestically. I wonder if the sanctions apply to them. It’s not like there isn’t a huge global demand to keep them busy while Biden plays with sanctions.

To the extent that it’s about oil. Saddam screwed with the wrong folks in Bush/Cheney and GWB. Biden (or whoever has their hand up his rump) probably wants the market price of oil to skyrocket.

Russia is not our enemy. Biden made America Russias enemy. this is a Biden induced war which could have been easily avoided.

Remember all the anti-Russia rhetoric coming from Hillary in the lead-up to the 2016 election? Some of it even pre-dated Trump's entry into the race, so it wasn't always something just to hang around his neck. None of it made any sense, but at some point the Democrats and the swamp-dwellers decided to stir up trouble between us and Russia. I figured it was lingering hatred for the former center of the Communist universe, that had dared to shrug off the Leftists' collectivist ideology... combined with their perpetual hatred for the U.S., which had been effective at turning away said ideology. What better scenario for them but to make both countries fight each other? Well, whatever is at the root of this shit-stirring, it's been going on for some time now.

The entire thing feels like a Deep State trap, and not only for us, but for Russia as well. It sucks that Putin may be giving them what they want.

Brandon’s still buying better than 800,000 barrels of oil a day from Russia.
