They may speak Russian but they are choosing to be Ukrainian. That’s devastating for Putin. Russian troops are running out of gas there and surrendering.
Some Ukranians are claiming that Russian soldiers are mostly conscripts and are easily surrendering to Ukranian villagers.
Like Saddam’s soldiers in Gulf War ‘91 they don’t wanna fight for Pooty.

I agree. But Putin is deluded and he likely still thinks that Zelensky will surrender. Putin miscalculated on the invasion and I believe he will continue to miscalculate.
