A day late.
Lets see how much the Russians have learned from USA successes and failures in the last 30 plus years.
WHy didn’t they do this yesterday?
General mobilization means any capable man or woman to pick up arms. It’s equivalent to a muster of the civilian forces to defend the homeland. The death throws of a soon to be conquered country.
I can’t care more than the Ukes.
What if war breaks out and nobody shows up? The MSM will be disappointed.
Mobilize who ?
Women and children ?
This will be over in a matter of days..
Or weeks ago even?
For all that matter, Ukraine must have some Suc missiles left. Why didn’t they launch into Russia right away?
Putin is staging through some place called Belgorod. That would have made a fine target.
Which has a population of about 3 million.
Sounds like a random group of thugs from Chicago would stand a better chance.

I can’t help but think it’s just for appearances. Pablum for the media.
I think it’s more likely that Ukranian forces lay down their arms to the Russians rather than Ukranian citizens pick up guns against them.
Charlie Wilson’s War. Part II. The Baltic sequel.
Well, there was a rumor that they handed out 10,000 automatic weapons to regular people in Kiev, so ... yeah. Good move, if about a week late.
Too late for a general mobilization, that should have happened months ago.
Ukraine will fold and be back under total Russian control as it has been on and off the last 400 years. End of story.
They may try partisan warfare for a while but there really isn’t hope to turn this around.

So when Churchill did so in 1940, it was sign of the UK’s imminent surrender?
Wish them well.
Didn’t the Poles mobilize their Calvary against Hitlers tanks? Fighting Tigers and Panthers didn’t go well for them I remember reading. Gave new meaning to “mount up!” As I recall. I doubt these poor folks fare any better.
