More concerning than the administration’s heavy-handedness has been the zombielike response of the student body. I ask my friends, “Why do young, fully vaccinated students continue to tolerate these irrational Covid restrictions?” While many of my peers acknowledge the excess, they shrug it off. The prevailing mood on campus is resignation, learned helplessness and reluctance to dissent.

My peers and I are often told that we are the future leaders of America. We may be the future decision makers, but most of us aren’t leaders. Our principal concern is becoming members of the American elite, with whatever compromises, concessions and conformity that requires. College students are still mentally children. They don’t know how to think for themselves, do their own research, and come up with a conclusion different than the one presented. They’re still children. It’s like asking why middle schoolers are getting the vax. Their parents are telling them to.

You get into Harvard by getting straight As. That means you know how to suck up. You read the propaganda and you parrot back the propaganda. These are not our smartest. These are our most obedient students. They are selected for their ability to be used.
The smartest students don’t always have the best grades. These students who go to Harvard are fast readers. They are smart enough. And they do what they are told. How great is that if you are looking for a herd of sheep.

Going to Harvard should be a disqualified for any government of leadership position.
Keep in mind that Harvard has a large East Asian student body, who tend to be very submissive, compliant and pro-mask culturally.
