There are a number of REE mines in the US with higher REE grades seeking funding to start up REE processing operations.

NioCorp and Elk Creek in Nebraska and USA RareEarths Round Top mine in Texas. Ucore in Alaska and I think Bear creek (?) come to mind. There are others. (Bear lodge (?))

All three of these are working on Separation/Processing facilities for REE Product that will be sold here in the U.S. which will be available for Defense Stockpiles. NioCorp will also produce Niobium and Scandium. Niobium has been researched as Anode material for fast charge batteries that also extend battery capacity and life.
