No, the criminals in the CDC must be turned over for prosecution if they want to get their legitimacy back. That’s step one. Until that happens, they’ll never be trusted again.
There are no shortcuts to recovering from being exposed as lying, corrupt criminals. It’s a long road and you can’t skip steps. First step is to confess and accept your punishment. Only THEN you can start to make amends and maybe regain some trust.
