Jill Griffin had a panic on her hands.
Teachers and staff members of her school district in Bethalto, Illinois, a small town outside of St. Louis, were suddenly worried that they would not be paid. They had seen videos posted online in which a parent who objected to the district’s Covid mask mandate said that she had filed a claim against the district’s insurance, causing the schools to lose all federal funding.
Griffin, the Bethalto schools superintendent, has spent weeks dealing with the fallout.
The parents’ strategy is simple: Try to use obscure and often inapplicable legal claims to force a school district to make a policy change. And while the claims have no legal standing, they have been effective at spreading confusion and wasting school districts’ resources, even though the paperwork doesn’t require a formal legal response.
The parents and activists have organized through a new group called Bonds for the Win, which is named for a financial instrument at the heart of the pseudo-legal effort. The group’s members have spent the past two months bombarding school administrators with meritless claims over Covid policies and diversity initiatives. These claims allege that districts have broken the law and therefore owe parents money through what are called surety bonds, which government agencies often carry as liability insurance.
Bonds for the Win’s claims are not legitimate, according to education officials, insurance companies and the FBI. But even though the group has won no legal battles, it has already celebrated some successes in overwhelming districts with paperwork, intimidating local officials and disrupting school board meetings.

Of course they claim that. Attack the surety bond. Hit them where it will hurt. This is healthier than the alternative I came up with.
They don’t like it when their tactics are used against them.
The MSM really is the enemy.
This is the best way to get the school’s attention.
Since many school boards refuse to listen to reason, hit them in the pocketbook, or aggressively threaten to do so.
Just end the mandates. It’s not complicated.
I believe the legal principle being employed here is called “what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.”
So I ax ya: are opponents of these parents really terrified?
If so, they should seek help.
If not, then it’s not terrorism. That word’s already been taken. Teachers ought to be able to come up with another very special word, all their own, for just being “bothered”, or “troubled”, or “spooked”, or “panty-twisted”, or “aghast”, or “annoyed”.

Later that day, the bully who had been beating up my daughter apologized, and he and she even became friends.
Sometimes you have to threaten to make these peoples' lives a living hell to get through to them.
And I would have.
Liberal tactics like claims against Trump and his family?
They have 'standing' until fully adjudicated. The tactics being used are nothing different from the tortured legal maneuvering Democrats have been using against us for a hundred years. Take it up with the judge, complainers.
It’s way past time to end all mandates. It was obvious 6 weeks ago that “little O” would be the end of it. It is a bad cold that provides immunity. What could be more welcome.
But half the population is insane and will not let go.
When interviewed, Bonds for the Win member Johnny E. stated, “It’s about time we played the game the way the other side played it. Who cares if it’s legally questionable? No rules, no penalties. Just get the ball in the cup and lay waste to the other side!”
Democrats can suck it. This is just a smaller scale of the same federal tactics they use for Civil Rights Act violations and Hate Crimes so they can circumvent double jeopardy or just plain exact revenge.

FINALLY some parents are waking up to how AWFUL the Public Schools are!
Terrorism? My goodness. Everything BUT actual terrorism is now terrorism to the left. Blm and antifa are domestic terrorists who have caused many many billions of dollars in damage, have killed people, have ruined people’s lives forever, but the left can’t bring themsl3ves to call actually terrorists, but they sure can call parents who hand out fliers or,object to crt terrorists lol
