Bloomberg: Democrats headed for 'wipeout' in November without immediate course correction
Yahoo News ^ | February 22, 2022

Michael Bloomberg writes in a new op-ed that he is "deeply concerned" the Democratic Party is "headed for a wipeout in November, up and down the ballot."

The former New York City mayor and Democratic presidential candidate points to the recent recall of three school board members in San Francisco while making his argument in Bloomberg News.

"Coming from America's most liberal city, those results should translate into a 7 to 8 on the Richter scale, because the three main factors that drove the recall are not unique to the Bay Area," Bloomberg writes.

Bloomberg notes that a "recent Democratic Party poll showed that voters perceive it as being too 'focused on the culture wars' - from renaming schools to defunding the police."

"But the advice that party leaders are giving members of Congress - to 'correct the record' when Republicans criticize them on schools and culture - isn't going to cut it," he added.

Yes and now.
In most places, the vote is fair. The only voter fraud is in Democrat dominated areas, where there are few Republicans to check them up. In congressional vote, these are all already represented by Dems. So, in 2022, the voters fraud can play only a minor role.

It’s too late, DUmmies.

It's not too late.

A Republican majority in the House, a GOP Senate, even a GOP President with Congress in hand poses no threat to the regime.

When the Democrats control the House by 5 votes and the Senate is 50-50, they change the nation fundamentally. When the GOP controls them, they give the Democrats a break to catch their breath, do nothing to secure the nation, and lose gracefully as soon as possible to let the destruction resume.

Personally? I’m hoping for a “Vanishing Point” ending for them.

I would advise anyone to avoid reading too much into New Jersey’s 2021 election results. The “off-off-year” elections for statewide offices in New Jersey generally make for low voter turnout. That’s why they often have a Republican governor even though the state hasn’t elected a Republican U.S. Senator in almost 50 years.

Unless they can get several mail in ballot dumps at 3am and fix the Dominion machines again. That would probably be enough course correction for them since the GOP won’t do anything about it.

I agree with you about Democrat voter fraud, but I admit to being heartened by the GOP win in Virginia. Not only did they have solid issues to campaign on, but the GOP also put together a decent ground game to help combat fraud. Come this November, and again in 2024, we need to have a HUGE force in place to watch for it. We’ll also need to combat the digital/online cheating.

>Sadly, only 13 Dems up in the Senate

However, there are multiple retiring RINOs and some more RINOs replaceable via primary this time. So although we can't fix much of the Dem problem in the Senate this time we can significantly improve the GOP part of the problem.

That switch from Republican to independent was made so at the time he could run for a third term instead of term limiting out.

City council later extended term limit for mayor and council members to three terms.

Everybody talks about the House and Senate races. Yes, those are important but the Governorships of Georgia, Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania are up this year. All 5 states have Republican controlled legislatures in both houses. Getting populist Republicans in those Governor’s mansions would mean real election integrity laws in all 5 states. That is absolutely critical.

Agreed. But then, even where the GOP is concerned, there are those two words that throw everything up in the air....Deep State.

It is human nature to hope for the best, even in the most dire circumstances. But some people can easily drown in despair if they have no hope.

I’m not one of them.

Yes some existing rinos will be purged…

However with the tidal wave coming, we will get some new ones in with the tide…

That’s the downside of a tidal wave election… a lot of folks no one is paying attention to that don’t think have a prayer will get in and a few will be Rinos because no one was really paying attention to those races.

Off year elections have lower turnout that is true, but we aren’t talking about. Race that was expected to be a close but safe D election… we are talking about races no one thought gop would even be in…

Just like VA.

Don’t think for one minute, short of drastic political landscape shift between now abs November that it won’t be a bloodbath for Dems.

10% inflation with no end in sight….

People saying this doesn’t matter are the same fools who said Trump will be irrelevant now that he’s out of the WH, yet he’s still the most dominant person in politics today…

November 8, 2022 will be a very bad day to be a democrat.
