A Las Vegas woman was sentenced to eight to twenty years in prison on Friday for pushing 74-year-old Serge Fournier off a bus on March 21, 2019, causing his death a month later. The sentence came as part of a plea agreement.
The woman, Cadesha Bishop, 28, pleaded guilty to abuse of an older or vulnerable person resulting in death on December 27, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. According to previous reporting from the outlet, she was arrested on May 6, 2019, and initially charged with murder.
Breitbart News previously reported:
Bishop was arrested after a video appeared to show her pushing an elderly man out of the door of a city bus causing him to fall to the pavement, smashing his head and hip in the fall. The man, Serge Fournier, 74, later died from the injuries at a hospital.
The Las Vegas coroner determined that Fournier died from “complications of blunt force torso injuries” and ruled his death a homicide.
Witnesses said Bishop was observed “yelling and cursing” at passengers and attacked the victim when he told her to be nice.

“I’m sorry for my behavior,” Bishop said at her sentencing on Friday, per the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “I’m sorry for the way that I was portrayed in my lowest and weakest moment of my life.”
Bishop asked Judge Tierra Jones if she could be referred to “some type of program” as other judges had said she could possibly qualify for probation.
“I’m just asking the court for help,” Bishop said per the outlet. “The way that I’ve been portrayed, it’s just not fair for somebody who’s never been in trouble before.”

Fat and ugly with plenty of blackatude
10. Who was her speech writer/coach? Some leftist Shyster?
Alinsky tactics! Shift the blame to someone or something else.
Hope she gets the full 20.
She got off easier than Chauvin for roughly the same offense.
For cases like this I simply HATE plea deals. She should be swinging from a very strong, braided, nylon rope.
Black privilege.
She looks like the main course at a luau.
“Keepin’ It Real” Kadesha.
Loud and violent people of any description are a menace.
Couldn’t make it as a lawyer?
Hm. The vast majority of people live their entire lives without pushing a 74yo man out a bus to his death. People like this are totally irrational, narcissistic, sociopathic, and delusional. And probably vote Democrat.
8to20 ...bullcrap...life witout parole!!!
Probably a grandmother too.
There is a movement afoot to protect elderly people from crimes; guess she got a pass on that as well.
Loud and violent Black woman are a menace to civilized society.
That statement is just the beginning, and the reason my forefathers thought as they did. It is why the court system exists, it has precious little to do with color, although amish like Cadesha aren’t helping the situtation.
Thanks to the inventor of Amish translation. It saves overuse of the dreaded “N” word.
Flat black ?.
And Biden’s Transportation CZAR states that we all must get rid of our cars and ride the bus. 👎😡🚍
The woman eventually gets up but throws punches at another passenger before getting off the bus. Benavidez said he’s noticed more bad behavior on buses recently. “It’s been a problem for the past few months. People refusing to wear masks, not obeying commands of the driver, twice in the last month I’ve witnessed two people doing drugs on the bus,” he said.
He’s calling on city leadership to bump up security. “I agree with the free fare program and fares but at the same time they had to anticipate that there was going to be some people getting on the bus as a result of that program that shouldn’t be there,” said Benavidez.
