It's been terribly disappointing, both inside and outside of America, to see police forces rally to enforce tyrannical, unprincipled, and often illegal or unconstitutional government responses to COVID. Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised — the various governments pay their salaries — but, given that the governments are made up of the same leftist elitists who five decades ago called police "pigs," many of us expected more from our police. I can tell you, though, that one thing that none of us expected, and that's to see police marching peacefully alongside Parisians who were protesting COVID restrictions and vaccine passports.
Once the COVID vaccine appeared on the scene and President Trump decamped the White House, governments across the West used vaccines as a means to solidify the control they achieved over people during Year One of the COVID Plague. And the fact is that, in Year One, COVID was enough of a mystery that people played along.
By Year Two, though, not only were people tired of the restrictions on a disease that proved to have an average mortality of something less than 1%, they were deeply concerned that the so-called vaccines were as dangerous as, if not more dangerous than, COVID itself. As time went on, they pointed out that the vaccines didn't vaccinate, that people were dying or becoming terribly ill in reaction to the jabs, and that the various governments were hiding data.
The world's Western governments, however, including Biden's administration and most Democrat governors, have seen the vaccines as the perfect way to separate good, obedient leftist citizens from bad, disobedient, independent-minded citizens. The vaccine mandates were especially useful with police forces because all the independent-minded officers got fired. The ones who remained were happy to do anything for their paychecks

Why they did so is not obvious. It is too much to say they were taking part.
It looked to me like a new tactic. Whoever controls Macron and France, the same people who control Trudeau and Canada, are masters of calibration - - seeing how much they can get away with as they reach their totalitarian goal.
My guess: the Truckers did NOT scare them, as so many have said. Where are the Truckers now?
The Truckers gave the Controllers new data on how to most effectively reach their goal.
I love Widburg, one of our most brilliant and insightful writers. But on this one, IMO, she is reading it the wrong way. She is seeing a calibration, not an encouraging event.
The deaths and chaotic violence are still on schedule. Our side has to understand: they are NOT going to become reasonable or change their goals. They see where this is all headed, and our side does not. They are Sun Tzuing the living daylights out of us, even the great Widburg.
The gratitude and optimism on our side is the result of psychological manipulation, IMO. It feels so good when it stops. And we are grateful to our oppressors.

Because Law Enforcement did not join with those they are supposed to actually serve. Or this would be over and Trudeau would be on the run. Overnight it would have spun 180 if they had.

Ottawa had to nationalize the police, police chief resigned. Trudeau put Ottawa Police under control of RMCP, not local control. They brought in goons from outside Ottawa (perhaps even some from other countries).
It was only after this did they use the force and make arrests under martial law - Emergency Decree.
Even though there was no emergency.
The French have a long history of not taking any crap off of their government.
I understand, but if Local Law Enforcement had joined with the protesters right away, then Trudeau would have been in a pickle. Send in Law Enforcement to crack heads on fellow Law Enforcement? It would have nipped it in the bud right there. There is no way he could have pulled that off with ANY approval from anyone.

Our side has NO leadership, other than a courageous man who is constantly under siege, and who was defeated by our enemies.
We do not have a single institution on our side. Not even the military or LE. They were taken over for years without our side even realizing.
Trudeau defeated the Truckers. The Truckers did the right thing by pulling out, but it is still a defeat.
There is no coming back, that I can see. American truckers scheduled things for many weeks after Canada. So much for spontaneous uprisings. Will it even happen now?
Trudeau (his controllers) won and won resoundingly because our side has no leaders and no institutions, period. We have zero means of organizing because of constant surveillance.
The conditions for effective resistance and opposition are simply not there. We were outwitted by brilliant stealth, by those in control.
We should never give up resistance, never give up speaking the truth and living within the truth regardless of their absurd narratives and lying propaganda.
But the remedy, if there will be one, will come from God and our faith in God, IMO.
You are correct that totalitarians will never let go of their pursuit of full unfettered totalitarianism and that they view everything that happens as data that informs their approaches to their goal.
Will we put up with this here? It is coming in a few weeks starting this week. Will our Law Enforcement stand with the people as they should?
Exactly right. Let the Government of France introduce a bill that would increase the #hours in a work week and every French Worker across the board is out in the streets protesting. (That's happened.) There are plenty of examples.
IMO we need to be asking/inviting LEO's to join us. They need to be fully engaged in all efforts to peaceably overturn the Xiden Administration's unConstitutional mandates and stop all enforcement of them.
