Yep, our young people are dunces made gay in the fifth grade definition by a diet of Harry Potter and PC propaganda.

Winning medals for an openly hostile nation when you hold American citizenship is Treason.

She'll end up as arm candy and bed warmer for some CCP big wig. And yes, for any CCP trolls out there I just said she's a whore.

You are correct. She is an expensive whore, too.
She should be denied a student visa to attend Stanford.
Let her study in Beijeng, since she loves it so much.

Precisely that split loyalty is why the founders excluded the children of foreigners from being President with the natural born citizen clause. Outstanding point!

So,she could present an official renunciation of US citizenship to Red Chinese officials, thus allowing her to be declared a Chinese citizen and then later turn around and cite the exceptions I've mentioned and thus be allowed to maintain US citizenship.Quite possible. Or China simply made an exception and made her a citizen absent renunciation. They wouldn't care, and clearly the Olympics don't care either. The irony, she's not a dual citizen athlete competing for another nation because they can earn a place on a team. She could have competed and likely won for the US. I've read she made over $30 million in 2021 largely from endorsements in China. Will be more this year. Doubt she could earn that as a US medal winner. At least she'll pay tax here.

Gu is a traitor to America. Same as Jane “Commie” Fonda sitting on a North Vietnamese AAA piece and laughing her @$$ off.

It’s weird how there is zero info about her father. One would think a guy would be quite proud to claim her as a daughter. Her mother never claimed to have been married
My only other thought is that it was a married man or someone else who simply couldn’t come forward

She likes white guys. The sort who would marry one and then have an affair with a Chinaman.

Though I'd see how many Americans competed for other countries this year. Interesting that out of 16, 5 competed for China. Obviously China made some exception to their citizenship laws. I doubt Gu went though the difficult and expensive process of renouncing citizenship. Not to mention the difficulty of returning to the US. 16 compeitors didn't. Just China disrespecting other nations/organizations. In this case the Olympic Committee, not the US. Wonder how many of the "Chinese" athletes came from countries other than the US.

You are going to need to get over yourself and take a chill pill.
Gu is Jane Fonda huh?
On what planet is that?

Almost the entire Israeli 2020 olympic baseball team was American. People are upset because this is about China. Bread and circuses all around. Corporate america sold out years ago, this is no different.

My guess is that it violates the International Olympic Committee's rules for a country to claim that a particular athlete is a citizen when their standard citizenship procedures aren't followed. Of course China sidesteps any rules that it doesn't like.
When Red China's involved you *never* know which end is up!

“We have plenty of people born here and here for generations that are traitors.”
Yep, the enemy within is far worse. I sadly think most immigrants are more appreciative on an instinctive level of America’s founding values than half of our “naturally born” citizens.
But there’s no question there are also immigrants with split loyalties.
We need to be vigilant of both - the native and the important traitors.
