Good luck to Austin with ever hiring police officers. Good luck getting the current ones, marking time until retirement, to ever respond to a riot again.

The moral of the story is that if it is a liberal city, then the cops should stand down and watch it burn. Is there any other lesson here?

That’s the difference between state sanctioned protests and non state sanctioned protests.

They’ll be able to hire LEO’s but they will all be corrupt. They’ll have a rap sheet and gang connections

If it is a liberal city, then cops can murder conservative protesters with impunity, even if they are doing nothing more than trespassing in a public building.

Rioting, arson and looting by liberal protesters are peaceful protests. Peaceful protests by conservatives are insurrections.

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.

It sounds like liberal cities have feral grand juries. Policing ferals is a job for animal control.

Exactly right. Things have changed. You can feel bad for these guys if you want, but know that they’re the same guys that will drag you out of a school board meeting for expressing wrongthink.

I don’t care what happens to them. There was a time that I would have, not too long ago. But as I said, things have changed.

The day will come, maybe sooner than they think, that conservatives will refuse to do the work necessary to allow liberal cities to exist. Whether it be policing, truck deliveries, food preparation and the work involved with the private sector paying taxes.

I wonder how they will fare with a population of homeless, druggies, college professors and trust fund brats.

Many are simply moving to conservative small towns outside of the democrat controlled cities. In rural counties that have not elected a democrat to public office in the past 20 years, there are a dozen applicants whenever there is an open police job.

That is why wealthy liberals want to import an endless supply of illegal aliens, cheap labor to do their yard work, clean their houses and take care of their kids.

The officers were indicted for causing injury by firing city approved bean bag rounds at noncomplying protestors.

Local clinics and hospitals reported injuries to protestors from age 16 to 61.

A 16 y.o. at a violent protest? Not only in Canada.

Two of the injured received cash settlements from the city for injuries.

And the DA continues to grandstand at every opportunity.
