The Biden administration has hired the first non-binary person to a federal government leadership position, according to Sam Brinton, who will now serve as deputy assistant secretary of spent fuel and waste disposition in the office of nuclear energy for the Department of Energy.
Brinton, who uses the pronouns they/them, said in a post on LinkedIn that they believe they will be the 'first gender fluid person in federal government leadership.'
'In this role I’ll be doing what I always dreamed of doing, leading the effort to solve the nation’s nuclear waste challenges,' Brinton said. 'I’ll do all I can to bring innovative thought into this government role.'

That person has the right to dress as they please, and to act as they please with consenting adults. I may think they're nuts, but they still have the right to show bad taste and poor judgment.
But to put them in charge of anything requiring good, rational judgment is a travesty. To put them in charge of something as tricky as toxic nuclear waste is the craziest thing I've read all week, and it's been a week for crazy.

I have looked at both Kansas State and MIT articles and interviews with him, and while the articles mention his physics (and voice) undergrad degree and engineering grad degrees - the subject immediately turns to his gayness, his involvement with various LGBTQ organizations. It clearly dominates his time, thinking and his character. When he left MIT, he immediately went to a political "think tank." It does not appear he's ever worked a "nuclear engineering" job in his life.
By now, we should all be used to media hype and lies, and our government focused only on politics and PR. This creep probably has an above-average IQ, but seems to have only used it for sex and self-promotion. He seems to have no practical experience whatsoever and I guess he was only hired for a political job because of his rabid homosexuality.
