Verizon had a large scale outage earlier today. I didn’t notice much else in the way of Internet accessibility, but I was working all day.
It seems to be on and off. There were some people unable to get on and others that it took a few tries and others like you that didn’t have any problems. It was on twitter over an hour ago so it may be fixed.
How long would it have taken Ezra Levant to verify or update his tweet?
He’s an idiot for posting that crap.
Re: 22 - Fair enough.
Levant should have provided an update.
Royal bank is having problems
I am a party pooper. Or a jerk. Or both.
Probably both.
If there is not a no confidence vote now. There never will be one.
Agreed, I just accessed my personal bank account and my company’s (I am the finance admin where I work) without any problems. Do people here really like to read some idea or rumour on a blog or elsewhere and then get worked up over it?
Re: 25 - That’s a great point. My Canadian friends are amazed at the number of banks in the US.
Absolument.
Wouldn’t put it past him.

Empowered by the federal government’s move to invoke the Emergencies Act, police will soon establish “no-go” zones in the city’s downtown core to control unruly crowds associated with the anti-vaccine mandate convoy protest, the minister said. People who defy orders to leave, he added, will face fines of jail time, or both.
Mendicino said authorities will move with “great rapidity” to erect more concrete barriers and press private tow truck companies into removing the big rigs that have clogged Ottawa’s streets.
To starve protesters of the money that supports their activities, banks and financial institutions will stop the flow of funds to all convoy organizers, he said.
The government is also threatening to suspend corporate bank accounts and commercial licensing for truckers taking part in the convoy...

He accused the conservatives of siding with people who fly swastikas flags today in Parliament.
That was my first thought. Who says he doesn’t have a sense of humor.
CBC says Banks are moving to freeze accounts of protesters
!
And the guy with the flag said it was to accuse Trudope of being a NAZI
Re: 29 - Off topic, but I saw Jagmeet Singh on CTV being fairly critical about JT invoking the Emergency Measures Act, but that he would support. Is there are concern that JT loses some NDP support over this? Singh seems to keep the NDP flock in check.
My hats are off to Canadians and Canadian FReepers. Don’t know folks can buy homes in some areas - crazy prices.
