Applebee’s bartender allegedly threatened with meat cleaver after asking for vax proof

A Washington man tried to attack an Applebee’s bartender with a meat cleaver after he was asked to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccine, according to charging documents.

Michael Dousa, 58, started calling the bartender a “punk a– b–ch” when he refused to serve him at the restaurant chain’s Bellevue branch without proof he’d been jabbed, according to a probable cause affidavit.

Dousa immediately admitted the incident — telling cops at the scene, “I waved the meat cleaver at the b–ch to egg them on, I didn’t do anything wrong,” the police report said.

They seem to be glossing over the difference between waving the meat cleaver and attacking with it. Seems a very big difference to me. While I sure would not want to have somebody wave a meat cleaver, given the choice of having it waved at me vs being attacked with it is hardly even a close choice.

Well, I don’t generally carry a meat cleaver around, but just yesterday, my sister, brother-in-law, and I entered a pizza restaurant that we frequented regularly. We asked for a table for three, and the hostess place three black masks on the counter.

I said “Homey Don’t play that game” and we walked out.

We went across the stree for Sushi instead, in a much nicer restaurant, and masks weren’t mentioned at all.

So it wasn’t a local ordinance or law, just Idiotic Virtue Signalling on the part of the Pizza Pllace.

At first, my sister didn’t understand my fury, but I said, “You have to draw the line somewhere.”

Had a some what similar situation occur to me a year ago with some nut in a road rage incident. Guy followed me into the parking lot of the hospital I work in claiming I was tail gating him and then proceeds to start shoving me around.

Security broke it up and I called the cops. Wind up was the guy screwed himself in court by admitting to the cops at the scene that he shoved me in ''self-defense''. He lost the case.
