That’s a transitory 9.7 percent increase.
Transitory.

This is after the rats got away with removing gas and food from the calculation. So we are looking at a 12% tax imposed by these bastards.

Something is wrong with the math. When meat and other foods are costing three times what they should, Gas is double what it should be, then 7.5% retail cannot be correct.

If the BLS is giving a number you can bet it has been politically sanitized to have the least impact to the democrats, meaning 9.7% must be extremely low.
This is the BLS who claimed after 7 million people lost their jobs within months that somehow the unemployment rate went down significantly.

That's okay. You need to look at the glass 1/2 full.
- No Unvaccinated Americans evacuated from Ukraine. (Keeping us safe)
- Free crack pipes (I want to be like Hunter)
- No Southern walls (walls are racist unless for elites)
- Very Successful Afghanistan Withdrawal (instead of sending in millions of troops)
- Mass migration across our border (because the world loves me)
- Farm relief for People of Color (everyone knows white is not a color)
- Released Meng Wanzhou for violating Iranian sanctions (Thanks Hunter)
- Free Covid tests for everyone (from China since they are experts on the virus)

Inflation is caused by the government pouring new dollars into the economy. (Not my idea. Milton Friedman’s.) It sent trillions to the folks beginning in 2020. That is the main cause, no matter what anyone tells you.
The people who work for the government don’t care. They get automatic cost of living adjustments, so they can make inflation happen and not care.
