There are many things I can’t make sense out of anymore. I can make sense out of this to a degree because of my background, but a lot of people cannot, and they depend on authority to tell them what to do.

But I have many subjects where I simply cannot noodle out the truth. I don’t have the data or objective facts readily available.

In cases like those, I simply look for aberrant behavior, lying, deception, ad hominem attacks instead of attacking the facts, and most often, the people who are NOT taking part in that are usually the ones telling the truth.

I have always fully understood that government should be viewed with rational skepticism. But now, when authorities disseminate information, I don’t believe any of it, from anywhere.

Once you have been lied to, you assume the default position that EVERYTHING you hear from them is a lie, and you must work forward from that premise.

In this case, I believe NOTHING from the government, the media, entertainment, education, Big Pharm, Big Tech, you name it.

And that angers me deeply. It is deeply disillusioning and alienating. And the fact that nearly ALL of it is done DELIBERATELY to produce this exact effect makes me even angrier.
