On the morning of Feb. 10, 2022, far-left extremists gathered for a direct action at Fields Park in the Pearl District of Portland, Ore. Secret video captured three militants getting out of a burgundy 2005 Saturn Ion with the Washington state license plate "AYV8117." The three gathered multiple rifles and put on body armor and face coverings.
The direct action was organized by Letha Winston, the mother of Patrick Kimmons, a black gang member who was shot and killed by Portland Police in 2018 after he shot two people. (More details about Winston and Kimmons can be read in my book, 'Unmasked'). Winston is herself an extremist, with many times giving speeches calling for deadly violence against police. I’m sure they just want to protest peacefully.
Are they right wingers? No? Then I guess the authorities aren’t interested in them.
I wonder where he got the info that they were antifa; they move, compose themselves and handle/wear weapons like LEO, not black bloc.
I like Ngo, but this video seems misrepresented. We all make mistakes.
They are members of antifa’s armed sub-group the John Brown Gun Club. These guys are always around those thugs in the background.
One of the John Brown Gun Club members got sent to Hell a few years ago trying to firebomb natural gas/propane storage tanks at an ICE Detention Facility in Tacoma.

Andy Ngo has been reporting on these people for a long time. He knows who they are. If Andy says they are Antifa, then I will believe him until proven otherwise.
Antifa members are not all your typical local thug. It would not surprise me if some of them are professionals. Some are well trained.
” It would not surprise me if some of them are professionals. Some are well trained.”
I don’t dispute that possibility.
But the fact remains that it is the first video evidence I’ve seen alluding to that supposition.
I would argue that there’s more to the video clip he was sent (obviously Ngo wasn’t standing there himself).
Their battle vehicle?
