A key federal agency on Feb. 10 changed its mission statement, removing several key phrases.
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) “upholds America’s promise as a nation of welcome and possibility with fairness, integrity, and respect for all we serve,” the new mission statement says.
Under the old statement, the agency was described as “administer[ing] the nation’s lawful immigration system, safeguarding its integrity and promise by efficiently and fairly adjudicating requests for immigration benefits while protecting Americans, securing the homeland, and honoring our values.”

Sounds to like the new statement for U.S. Immigration seeks to broaden what the agency was always meant to be about & change the mission to something we will not be able to sustain. The U.S. simply cannot be a sovereign nation & provide every good thing to every other nation in the world in the way that some think.
Good for them. Honesty is best though. How about the Department of Vote Stacking and Cheap Labor? A one word department would be “Replacements” you know, of the “Deplorables”.
Seems to me like congress creates the law and the funding for each agency and only a law passed by congress can change that agency’s mission. But what do I know...

Actually, their new mission statement IS the truth. The old one obviously didn’t match the actual policy and actions of the department.
They aren’t even concerned about covering it up anymore.
