Local Detroit radio / TV are still reporting this as a COVID lock down protest. Pretty even. So far.
Local Windsor Radio is in in full panic mode.
Ambassador Bridge still closed down, and the Blue Water Bridge waits are getting longer. The affects are being felt in Michigan now. Going to be an interesting week after the Super Bowl is over. This will be the only story.

Covid restrictions are the catalyst but the origins are much deeper..Incredibly missing, is this is a Joe Six Pack revolution against government elites and is gaining traction worldwide.

Far simpler...the common people are revolting against their liberal elite overlords. COVID fatigue is more like the common people are sick of the petty tyrants often senseless edicts especially when the elites are hypocrites who never follow those edicts themselves. The people are sick of the condescention and contempt heaped on them by haughty elites like Trudeau. The people are mad as hell and aren’t going to take it anymore.

Demonstration is now something that causes “a state of emergency”.
It’s illegal to demonstrate.

Ottawa is under siege
The protests in Canada’s capital city led Ottawa mayor Jim Watson to declared a state of emergency on Sunday, reflecting the “serious danger and threat to the safety and security of residents.”

Can’t be stressed how untrue this is.

"Blockages, illegal demonstrations are unacceptable, and are negatively impacting businesses and manufacturers,” Trudeau said
I wish some powerful politician in our country had said that, when hordes were breaking windows, burning businesses and churches, looting, intimidating people leaving the White House after a meeting, etc. But I guess all of those fell into the MSM's notion of 'mostly peaceful and righteous' demonstrations
The only difference is that I haven't seen any of that burning/looting/intimidation stuff taking place in Ottawa.
