NEW - White House "COVID-19 Response Team" has suddenly scheduled a press briefing for today at 11 am EST.
There probably going to call an end to covid. And before you start to celebrate, look up the Twitter thread by Steve Deace Show. Its sobering.

Yesterday’s internal WH polling was really really bad
I can’t imagine what new nonsense they will spring on us. The insanity is such that words fail me at this point.
New "found" (aka made up lies) data or research shows those dirty un-vaccinated types are responsible for ...
A new vaccine initiative - even though vaccines are widely available and free, somewhere there may be someone who wants one but doesn't have one yet. Somewhere.
A new booster initiative - even though the vaccines and boosters are basically in-effective against omicron, we're going to push for more boosters.
Renewed mask mandates. Not that they actually work, we're just going to change the rules again to keep people off balance so they won't ask too many questions about our last in-effective mask guidance.
Maybe a good old boondoggle. They're going to announce the formation of a commission to "study" this or that - ie. funnel more taxpayer money to someone as a payoff.
Maybe they're feeling the heat from up north. They're going to try to head off any potential similar protests here in the US with more fascist restrictions.

How about the Patriotic Right? Is the Patriotic Right so engaged? If they were, the Lying Dems wouldn’t have a chance. I seriously doubt the Patriotic Right who loves America has a clear idea of its goals and objectives. Hard to win the prize when you don’t know what the prize is.

Too much opposition is rising, and as someone else notes, it’s an election year.
IMHO, I say fold. Studies are starting to come out showing just how wrong they were, from the very beginning -- especially when it comes to studies showing the actual Covid numbers, or the damage they've done to children. They need to move away from this issue ASAP.
On a side note, I had to chuckle last week when our local news was reporting on our hospital's Covid numbers, and the hospital said they are no longer recording a patient's vaccine status. Hmmm... why would that be? In the past they were all too happy to report the majority of patients were unvaccinated.
