A Canadian province has conceded to nationwide demonstrations by the nation’s truckers and will abolish vaccine passports immediately and end most COVID-related restrictions by month’s end.
Jason Kenney, the premier of Alberta, announced Tuesday evening that the passport requirement to enter businesses in the province will end at 11:59 p.m. local time and most other restrictions will be gone in three steps over the next three weeks.
“Now is the time to begin learning to live with COVID,” Mr. Kenney said in a televised address. “These restrictions have led to terrible division.”
“We cannot remain at a heightened state of emergency forever. We have to begin to heal,” he said.
The Ottawa ‘Freedom Convoy,’ which has shut down Canada’s capital in the past weeks, has spread throughout the country and trucks have been blockading the southern border wth the U.S., demanding an end to all COVID-19 mandates and restrictions.

Great, now we have to put up with the liberal “healing process” for a couple of years. The people here in Santa Clara County are going to need a decade or more of “healing” to put their fears behind them and lead normal lives again.

I’m Praying that the Canadian ptb don’t pull a 01/06 on the Truckers and other Protesters and start face recognition/vehicle tags/innocent (read guilty by association) arrests and gulag treatment.

They’ve shown how powerful persistent organized activism can be. They’re heroes in my book.
The left has known this for decades and it’s been their most effective weapon in this culture war.

Truckers are the lifeblood of a society, if they don’t move, society shuts down, that’s a lot of leverage for the taking.

Long past time for those two to be "detained" and "interviewed."
Ironically, the truckers only began to become the “lifeblood” by giving them tax breaks and building highways for them, while the railroads (privately owned, and the prior “lifeblood”) were taxed and regulated into oblivion at the same time.
