Flores is now the Kaepernick of coaches.

I don’t like Flores as a coach, his slow starts killed any playoff chances. But the Owner and GM for the Dolphins are scum and likely tanked Flores first season. The trade and coaching decisions they made looked like they never wanted a winner.

Very few coaches regardless of skin color get a chance with 3 different teams.

The only issue I have with this hire is the same issue I have with all coaching hires regardless of skin color.

I would rather see someone who had never been a head coach before getting hired versus a retread

Lovie, Josh McCown and Brian Flores. Not one of them is good enough to be a head coach in the NFL. Texans should have gone b//s out starting in December to get Dennis Allen away from the Saints. Now the Texans will be lucky to break .500

Nah it is his skin color. Can't be anything but. America no longer hires the best and brightest. Job knowledge, aptitude, attitude. All hiring is now based on two factors: Skin color and sexual orientation. One is either the correct color or one isn't. One either has the correct sexual orientation, or one doesn't. Nothing else matters.

Mr. Flores will sue again and again and again. Eventually someone will be court ordered to hire him. Roger Goodell will wonder with his mouth full, will wonder, "How many more will I have to fellitate"? I knew I was going to be a whore when I was hired. But I thought it would be for the Owners and women. Not for every no talent or brans idiot who think that they are members of MENSA.

Smith was the DC for the Rams when they lost to the Patriots in Brady's first Super Bowl. Smith had improved the defense quite a bit, and seemed to be a pretty smart guy.

It looks like he has become one of those journeyman coaches that are good, but never quite got over the hump- sort of what Andy Reid was for many years, until Mahomes came along.

I think the Texans have bigger problems than he can solve (mostly in the front office), but I'm glad he's getting another shot.
