I agree. I hope the truckers will get the same amount of money through the new donation link, I can’t remember what it is now. Anyway I’m hoping even if they have to disband for now they can use the money to live on if they strike. They could probably set up another fund if they have to. I’ll be happy to donate again!

One technical issue I’ve not seen addressed about cutting off fuel is the cold. Those trucks are pretty much never turned off in bitter cold. If they are allowed to get cold soaked they are NOT gonna start. Fuel gels, oil like syrup, battery cannot turn that big high compression engine over while heating the glow plugs. About the only way to get a cold soaked big rig going is to tow it to a heated building and let it sit for many hours. Sorry, you cut off my fuel supply...

I used to supervise Teamster Drivers and whenever there was a job action wildcat or not, they would go directly for the brake lines. It was definitely a pain in the ass. It is a good way to effectively immobilize the operation.

I once left a good job over Affirmative Actions hires from outside the company...into another department...a promotion I was well qualified for.
The AA hire didn’t last 9 months...totally unable to do any amount of work....accounting. No accuracy—speed-volume—bad attitude.
MY work load got spread across 2 1/2 persons...and many reports I researched prepared were not done at all.
5 years later, I went self employed.... Still have ONE client. This is 53rd year I have done his books. I am 82 He is almost 84.
The public will be harmed.

The truckers and supporters are handling this very well. Passive Resistance being done very well. They’re leaving routes open for the locals, emergency vehicles, etc. Very smart.
They’re certainly putting the burden on Law enforcement to behave. :)
