Chris Wallace recently left his long-time, top position as the host of “Fox News Sunday.” Being the principled newsman that he is, he chose to run over to the shining jewel of journalism that is CNN to be part of their new streaming service. Since that announcement, we haven’t heard much of anything from Wallace.
Per Radar Online, which broke the Zucker story weeks before Zucker’s resignation, Wallace is not happy about the development.
In wake of the decision from WarnerMedia suits to oust Jeff Zucker, Wallace is said to be “second guessing his decision” even though he is believed to be earning $8 to $10 million per year.
“He went over there for Zucker and now Zucker is gone. Wallace feels that he has been stiffed. He’s got no staff, no Executive Producer and the guy he gave up a prized gig for has just walked out the door.”
While I’m assured Wallace is a brilliant journalist, if he went over to CNN based on the word of Jeff Zucker, that’s not exactly a ringing endorsement of his decision-making abilities
When Wallace left months ago, it was obvious that things were toxic at the “most trusted name in news.” Since then, multiple scandals have been exposed, from Chris Cuomo’s sexual harassment to multiple producers caught abusing minors. By contrast, Zucker’s transgressions seemed tame, but they were still an indictment of how rotten things were at the top.
Apparently, Wallace was counting on Zucker to insulate him from all the mess at CNN, including the territorial predations of Jake Tapper. That’s obviously not going to happen now, and Wallace has been left adrift.

Made my day! 🤣
Dana Perino as a replacement at his old job is an improvement. What does that say?
More shoes possibly involving maybe turncoat former Fox talent now at CNN? Not naming names, just wondering out loud...
Someone who could take it and move it "to the right" of Fox-GOP, selectively taking talent from Fox, OAN, AOV... maybe Newsmax. OK, not maybe Newsmax LOL.
At any rate AT&T sells it off to someone who will reinvent CNN as an objective, investigative news organization that doesn't hire *******s like Chris Wallace. That would be unlikely but fun if it should happen.
Keep James Earl Jones' voice-over though, for old times' sake.
"Not For Long."
“I would love to be left high and dry at $8-10 million a year.”
People in that category don’t see it that way - they see their purpose in the world being to ‘make a difference’, since money isn’t a concern. Their happiness level is determined ENTIRELY by whether they are making a difference, rather than whether they can afford a ranch, nice house, nice boat, and first class trips, or even have a great family. All of that means NOTHING to them...they MUST make a difference, and up there the only socially acceptable way to ‘make a difference’ is to destroy the country. And that why they HATED Trump so much...he was trying to make a difference in restoring the country.
Learned his lesson? Nah; he’s not only a slow learner, but a no learner.
Let’s GO Chris Wallace?
Wallace has always been an empty suit, trading on his fathers skill and celebrity. His only real asset is a good poker face when lying or carrying his handlers’ water.
Have you seen the news that Liberty Media, through the Discovey Channel, will be acquiring CNN?
That means John Malone, who despises the dems, will be calling the shots.
I wonder how the buyout from Discovery is going? Hope their letter of intent included a back door.
No, I had not heard that. Very interesting, and very untimely for Chris Wallace. BWAHAHAHA.
Liberals care only for themselves.
Worth noting that Fox did nothing to keep him in the fold. Wallace inherited a last-place Sunday show and left it exactly as he found it. Suzanne Scott probably laughing as Little Chris exited the building; she’s saving $8 mil a year that can be better spent on programs that actually work.
If I were making decisions at Fox, I’d think about hiring Sharyl Attkisson from Sinclair. Her program actually does journalism and it’s not rooted in the pundit/politician class. Fox News Sunday is just a clone of the shows on other networks and the network would be better served by blowing it up and trying something different
Malone has already said publicly that CNN should go back to its “hard news” roots and Discovery’s CEO told CNBC last week that CNN is “left-leaning.” It wasn’t a compliment.
Again, lots of changes coming to the network. BTW, one of the execs now running the show (Ken Jautz) is the same guy who converted Headline News into a “True Crime” network, with the exception of Robin Meade’s morning show. Anyone ready for the “Forensic Files 2” network? True, it doesn’t get big ratings, but it’s cheap to produce; in fact, you could crank out several seasons worth of shows for what they’re paying CNN’s current prime-time host line-up.
“No matter what, I still won’t pay her any attention after what she and Bret Baier did at the Trump debate.”
Dispicable & agenda driven. She ought to go the same way as Dan Rather... out of the spotlight completely.
Wallace might really get stiffed over his Lolita express flight hours and destinations. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
Chris Wallace left Fox News to be the pivot man in the circle jerk also known as CNN
