Chris Wallace recently left his long-time, top position as the host of “Fox News Sunday.” Being the principled newsman that he is, he chose to run over to the shining jewel of journalism that is CNN to be part of their new streaming service. Since that announcement, we haven’t heard much of anything from Wallace.
Per Radar Online, which broke the Zucker story weeks before Zucker’s resignation, Wallace is not happy about the development.
In wake of the decision from WarnerMedia suits to oust Jeff Zucker, Wallace is said to be “second guessing his decision” even though he is believed to be earning $8 to $10 million per year.
“He went over there for Zucker and now Zucker is gone. Wallace feels that he has been stiffed. He’s got no staff, no Executive Producer and the guy he gave up a prized gig for has just walked out the door.”
While I’m assured Wallace is a brilliant journalist, if he went over to CNN based on the word of Jeff Zucker, that’s not exactly a ringing endorsement of his decision-making abilities
When Wallace left months ago, it was obvious that things were toxic at the “most trusted name in news.” Since then, multiple scandals have been exposed, from Chris Cuomo’s sexual harassment to multiple producers caught abusing minors. By contrast, Zucker’s transgressions seemed tame, but they were still an indictment of how rotten things were at the top.
Apparently, Wallace was counting on Zucker to insulate him from all the mess at CNN, including the territorial predations of Jake Tapper. That’s obviously not going to happen now, and Wallace has been left adrift.

CNN is such a smoldering crater of what it once was that I don’t think even firing everybody and starting over can save it. Its brand is too toxic.

Streaming service? More like steaming pile of cr*p service.
Wallace’s joining CNN was perfectly timed. Like getting onboard the Titanic at Queensland, Ireland, its final port of call.
Poor wittle Chrissy. Those meanies at Fox forced him to report facts. CNN has much more freedom than that!
Exactly, that is when I turned off Fox and never turned them on again. Screw Fox.
CNN+ (Wally’s Folly?) is the same dog food served on CNN that the American public won’t eat, but for which a subscriber now must pay. A brilliant business model. Dozens of Leftist idiots from university faculty lounges will line up for the privilege.
I can hear the new owners of CNN slamming down the giant “CANCELED” stamp on CNN+ and Wallace in 3, 2, 1...
Is Jeffrey Toobin the only guy at CNN who knows how to keep his hands to himself?
It is total karma that CNN is paying Wallace 8 million to keep him off the air.
Nominated for post of the day.
😆
And thumbing your nose at the people left at the port on land.
Just like his daddy - a POS
Finally he gets his just desserts.
“Left wing trash Chris Wallace left high and dry by Zucker’s ouster.”
I would love to be left high and dry at $8-10 million a year.

“(H)e is believed to be earning $8 to $10 million per year.”
He might be being paid that much, but whether he is earning it is debatable.
Old man on an ice floe
“Uh, Sir...Sir!”
All I can think of at the mention of his name is his incessant, smarmy interruptions of President Trump during the debates. A self-styled intellectual. Hey clown, intellectuals don’t jump on a sinking ship!
Anyone who would idolize Jeff Zucker is a moron.
But, it’s Chris Wallace…
The Tapper-Wallace feud is the kicker, and likely to end with one gone. The rest of the useless activists at CNN will have a lot to worry about soon as the format changes begin to kick in. The other major leftist outlets are stocked up with mouthpieces. A few CNN dipwads will show up on MSNBC or one of the network rosters, but the majority will end up back where they started, in places like the local Boise station reporting on pothole funding plans…
