Rudy Giuliani said that if Trump had imposed martial law after the election, 'we would all end up in prison,' report says

Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani said that if then President Donald Trump had imposed martial law in an effort to overturn the 2020 election results, the former president and many of his aides would have wound up behind bars.

That's according to Patrick Byrne, the former head of Overstock, who told The New York Times that Giuliani recently explained to him that he advised Trump against imposing martial law because "we would all end up in prison."

The Times has previously reported on Giuliani's opposition to instituting martial law. Despite his own endorsement of outlandish conspiracy theories about voter and election fraud, he became alarmed when former national security advisor Michael Flynn and former Trump lawyer Sidney Powell suggested imposing martial law.

According to the paper, Flynn, Powell, and Byrne went to the Oval Office on December 18, 2020 and laid out a plan that involved deploying the military to seize voting machines and ballots in key battleground states. Giuliani waited until Flynn and Powell had left the Oval Office and told Trump that their plan would get him impeached, the report said.

Why would Trump have listened to Byrne when he didn’t vote for Trump and he’s not a lawyer?

So it looks like at every turn folks were spitballing some unique ideas and Trump made the correct choice to decline each time

Guilliani came onto the scene after Trump was falsely accused of taking an illegal campaign contribution of Stormy Daniels’ “silence” from Michael Cohen. What did Guilliani do? Instead of defending Trump by arguing that Michael Cohen giving money to Stormy Daniels was an independent expenditure & it was impossible for the Trump campaign to take or refuse to take “silence” as a campaign contribution or use it illegally in their campaign, he made Trump look guilty by giving money back to Michael Cohen that Trump never had taken in the first place! Cohen gave money to Stormy Daniels, not to Trump…and the prosecutor’s had twisted both the law and court precedent. Trump giving money to Cohen at such a time that he’d never taken from Cohen in the first place ended up looking like a bribe. Point is, Trump never was seriously considering imposing martial law, even if it were possible to do so….but Guilliani is not the sharpest lawyer in the world. Why didn’t he make a big deal about Cohen being represented by Lanny Davis as his defense attorney when Davis obviously WANTED Cohen to be guilty and never even tried to defend him from false charges and an illegal conspiracy/witch hunt….and was, in fact—part of it!

"It seems like Giuliani doesn’t understand that his statements are being used to promote that false and harmful narrative."

"statements"? It seems like you do not understand how often Rudy is mentioned in a 542-word article, an article that you clearly did not read.

Rudy is named ONCE, in ONE sentence.

"[Patrick] Byrne told me that Giuliani recently explained to him that he had counseled the President to reject such a plan because “we would all end up in prison.”

And did Rudy even actually say it? PROVE IT. It is nothing but straight-up hearsay from Patrick Byrne -- the guy who broke down in tears on FoxBiz stepping down as CEO of Overschlock.con, after being forced to admit he had been shacking up with Soviet agent Maria Butina!

Since we’re speculating on stupid-ass crap from the Nazis at Business Insider, there’s also the possibility that Trump could have called in a nuclear strike on DC.

"Why Team Trump did not pay attention to this out-in-the-open planning to steal the election and why they didn't have a plan bigger than Lin Wood, Sidney Powell, and the My Pillow guy? Your guess is as good as mine."

The question is, resulting from the 2018 cheat factory, the chairwomyn of the RNC, Ms. Romney McDaniel, should have been funding lawsuits plural against unsecured mail-in ballot harvesting.

From the dozens of suits Ms. McDaniel should have filed, she would have only needed one suit to catch on with one Federal judge in order to fully block GA/PA/MI/WI unsecured mail-in ballot ballot harvesting before 2020. Any election lawyer with a pulse could have found friendly Federal judges in every single one of those circuits.

So now, ask yourself, why did Romney's niece fail to do her due diligence?

And what the enemy do during this exact same timeframe?

Tom Perez at the DNC directly sourced DNC funding and partnered with the Atlanta MSM to force GA SOS Raffenshitter to his knees; and in March 2020, Herr Raffenschiester accepted an unconstitutional vote 'compact' with Democrats -- rather than Raffenshitter force the Marxists into open court and open a can of fugly on their ass, OR have already opened said can of whoop ass viz McDaniels' suit -- a prima facie fraudulent 'compact' that opened the floodgates for the Democrat ballot-harvesting-mail-in-voter-fraud in a formerly rock-ribbed-show-your-goddamn-voter-ID Georgia.

And even then, the GA fraud required frantic 'overtime' in Fulton County's State Farm Arena minus GOP observers. The other three states also required halt-fraud-score counting in the middle of the night because Trump. triggered. the. monster. vote. again.

It isn’t just that they stole the election - it’s that to stop Trump they were forced to take actions that prove there really aren’t any such things as elections.

Trump managed to rip down the curtain hiding the Great Oz - but Oz cannot be defeated through the political process. So Giuliani’s advice, in their case, was absolutely correct: save yourself, and live to fight another day.

IF Giuliani said this, he’s right. Or he should be.

As it is, I love how they slip adjectives into this: ”outlandish” conspiracy theories.
