More Afghan refugees are heading to Asheville. Nearly 100 are expected to arrive within the next month. The refugees will arrive very quickly, starting next Tuesday.

Asheville was recently named one of the worst cities in America for young people to live, who are high school graduates based on salaries for jobs they are likely to find, and expenses. Housing prices are very high.
There are cities in Mississippi much better than Asheville with respect to affordability for young families.

When I was there in November of last year, it appeared that there were a lot of vacant rooms in the Biltmore mansion.
Meet a lot of Afghans at work. Most are nice wonderful people but I do see a male domination mind set in some of the men.
Met a woman today whose brother in Afghanistan worked for the U.S. for several years and had his named turned over to the Taliban.
Think I heard Afghani cuss words when I mentioned Biden.
Also have met some teenagers whose Dad’s worked for the U.S. and were able to get their kids out but the parents are still there.
I have a MAJOR problem with letting in people who didn’t work for us and were never vetted. Stupidity on steroids.
Most of the “homeless” I’ve seen in Asheville are drug-addled.

Especially if the ATF is going to give them guns that they won’t be worried about later.

I lived in Asheville in the 70’s. It was great mix of hippies and hillbillies.
But all the natural beauty of the mountains drew creative types and moneyed northerners. I’m surprised. Asheville is not a cheap town to live in and I would have thought the retired money would have convinced them to put them elsewhere. But then, they probably are doing that too.
I am in Asheville right now taking care of my mother who is in rehab. Asheville has so many homeless......& they are going to load it up with more people who will get benefits?????

High time to start taxing the Church. They can start paying their share for all this.

If it were my call, I would claw back all the taxes that they did not pay from all prior years.
If they had to sell all their assets, so be it.
They have earned it.
Maybe the school board can do something to push children into private schools to open up space for the illegals?
The Muslims will fit in well. Most folk there still wear masks, many hate America, there are a fair amount of crazies, and a lot of them also worship Satan.
