Despite the urgent need to pray for national and international revival and for the Lord to lift the scourge of the COVID pandemic, the organizers of the National Prayer Breakfast have once again canceled their in-person gathering at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C. due to the coronavirus threat.
For the second year in a row, the 'event will only be held online.'
Launched in 1953 by American Evangelist Billy Graham and then-U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower, the National Prayer Breakfast has become the premier annual gathering of Christian leaders, with typical attendance upwards of 4,000 people.
Held the first Thursday of February, the event is attended every year by the sitting American president – who gives a brief address – as well as the sitting vice president, the speaker of the House, many members of the House and Senate, governors, state legislators, pastors, priests, rabbis and business leaders.
It is also attended by world leaders and many ambassadors.

Were there too many vaxxed/boostered folks planning on showing up? Seems they need quarantined more than the unclean/unvaxxed since they appear to be more susceptible to having CONvid. Prayers for them.

This administration will use covid as another way to keep Biden from the public eye. It’s easy to sit him in a chair in front of a screen, and this on a stage to look like and make it appear he’s doing his job.
One could say that government is the virus.....Covid is going to continue regardless if it’s out there or not. It’s part of the cover for Biden not doing his job.
I believe DC still allows the NBA and NHL to have live crowds at their games. Covid cases in DC have been rapidly dropping for three weeks, and the 7-day rolling average for Covid deaths in DC is ONE.

Where there’s money to be made you can bet they’re going to allow stadiums to fill up for sports and entertainment. However I think Government held events won’t be because Biden can’t perform as Presidents normally do so they’ll continue to use covid to protect and hide him away. hey’ve ceased many events otherwise for a President to attend. Haven’t seen any state dinners either.
