It would be really awful if something happened to a GA Senator, or one of the MD Senators, or Mass....

At 49 he likely suffered the stroke due to being triple vaccinated. I did an investigation on a Marine Colonel a few months ago, very fit. Stroked out after a 3 mile run on a sunday...Double Vaxxed of course. Death rates in the military are through the roof...but nothing to see here folks move along... we are not being ruled by demons...

DEM Supreme Court nominations are rarely party line....But recently Dems have crucified Republican nominees.

Until he is better, this kills any party line vote the dems want. They can no longer count on Harris to provide the winning vote.

I don’t think Mitch can stop it from coming to a vote. I think it’s Schumer’s call.

Yeah, what a fine scenario that’d be. The dems’ agony would be absolutely delicious.

Not going to complicate anything. There are a significant number of republican senators that will crap all over themselves to support the democrats. ( Murkowski, Collins, Graham, McConnell, Romney ...)

Should Lujan be unable to return to work, the state’s governor Michelle Lujan Grisham (no relation) would appoint his replacement. The governor is a Democrat, and she would all but certainly appoint a Democrat to Lujan’s seat.

Not likely he will resign - he’s not eligible for retirement. He started in the House of Reps in 2005; but you need 20 years of service plus age 50 to get retirement. An older Senator could resign and take retirement , but not him. That’s what makes this even worse for the Rats …. I want four years of Trump Budgets under ‘continuing resolutions’ (CRs)
