Ever wonder where the term “3 Dog Night” came from?

I’m pretty sure after sitting out there for a couple hours, he wouldn’t probably be here right now.”

Yep, hypothermia can cause death.

At least he wasn’t broiled by glow-bull warming.

While I would never give any kind of chocolate to a dog, the truth is that the milk chocolate in m&ms would probably not be harmful. If your dog gets into seriously dark chocolate, see a vet asap, but if you know it’s just milk chocolate, you shouldn’t worry.

Also if it’s sugar-free with Xylitol. It’s poison for dogs.

Looks like a black lab. So many labs are service dogs it makes me think they are hard-wired to help people.

Black labs are guardian dogs. And very very smart.

A large stray we took in when I was a teenager (looked like Ole’ Yeller) saved my grandmothers life one winter. She went outside and slipped on an icy sidewalk behind the house. We lived way out in the country with no neighbors.

The stray climbed on top of her and stayed there licking her face and keeping her warm until she came to.

When we came home, she had a goose egg on her head and the stray was sleeping under the kitchen table. :-)

I understand it’s an Aussie expression meaning it’s so cold it takes the body warmth of 3 dogs to keep warm enough.
