A passenger aboard a Spirit Airlines flight claimed he was forced to remove his electronic face mask featuring the glowing slogan, “Let’s go Brandon,” along with the letters FJB — the code for “F— Joe Biden.”
Adam Radogna, a supporter of former President Donald Trump flying from Cleveland, Ohio, to Tampa, Florida, on Friday, posted a viral video showing him being handed a surgical mask to replace the one he was wearing.
When he asks a flight attendant why, she is heard saying, “It’s offensive … it can be to some people, so we’re not going to go back and forth. Go ahead and put the blue one on, OK?”
After wearing the blue mask over his scrolling one, Radogna goes on to say, “This is not America anymore.”
“I was told I need to turn off my mask that says ‘Let’s go Brandon’ on it and my shirt is fine, though. The mask is not. The shirt says the same thing as the mask,” he says to the camera.
His sweatshirt shows the slogan written over the former president’s face.

He tells a supervisor, who appears to understand his argument, “If I had BLM on here or something else, would it have been fine for her?”

Spirit is a sorry airline mostly because their personnel are weird......

I wonder what would have happened if he just said “nope” and went about reading his paper.
If they turn the plane around for that, he would likely have been a superstar.
If anything physical would have happened, it would have been instigated by the flight crew entirely.
Man, these low budget airlines... Greyhound bus of the sky. Lucky if you don’t get shivved in the bathroom.
I remember picking my son up at LAX and he flew in on Spirit airline back in 04. He was home on leave and the people coming off the plane looked like greyhound bus material. I’d never heard of that airline before.
My thoughts as well. Too many people willing to give up essential liberties in order to get along - with people who have no intention of getting along.

Hell, their seats don’t even recline. As a global jet-setter, I flew them once...yep, hunched forward, total crap.

I used to think this way, but no more. They are cleaning our clocks, and we are politely taking it. We have been turning the other cheek for long enough, but at this point we’re being slowly dragged into their panel van and being chained to the floor. We need to stop being polite.

Huh. So do nothing. Well, we know what happens when good men do nothing. But they do stay out of jail. At least for a while.
Problem is disregarding instructions from a flight attendant will get you in trouble. If the turn the plane around as a result you’re going to jail. It may take that before it’s over, but for now that’s a fight you won’t win. Everyone else on the plane would be mad as well.
Someone needs to make a reversible mask with a bedazzled BLM on the other side.
At least make the stewardess ban that as well.
