That’ll make some interesting damage claims. “No really, a plane engine ate my luggage and spewed it out”

Darn Asians can not drive.

There’s a previous thread on FR about this, but your post is not an exact duplicate.
Plane was being taxied WAY to fast for conditions, sucked a freight container into the engine.
Sum Ting Wong reported to be the pilot in charge.

It’s one of our local station here in the Bay Area. The poor anchor soon found herself out of a job - she “retired”. The producers left kicking and screaming.

Obviously, this was a result of the Verizon/AT&T 5G rollout that people were panicking about here a couple of weeks ago. /s

Looks like the engine ate whatever it ran into. Maybe going too fast for conditions?

“China Airlines” is Republic of China / Taiwan, not Chicom.

Was the container moved into an active taxiway, was the aircraft taxiing where it should not have been, or was it a combination of both?

Maybe also driving where he shouldn’t have been? I don’t know a lot about how airports are ran. Why would he be so close to those baggage carts unless he’s loading or unloading?

That was a baggage cart. Pilot did that thing people do in cars when visibility goes away. They keep going thinking it will clear up in a second or two. That’s going to be an expensive repair.
