Kyrsten Sinema’s New Republican Friends Aren’t Going to Vote for Her (ya don't say!!)

Throughout much of 2021, left-of-center political analysts often asked themselves, What is Kyrsten Sinema’s deal? As she battled all year against simple Senate passage of the Build Back Better legislation, and against the filibuster reforms needed to enact other Biden priorities like voting rights, it became quite the parlor game. Sinema’s Democratic partner in Senate obstruction, Joe Manchin, had the obvious excuse of representing one of the reddest states in the country. Sinema’s Arizona is a battleground state that is trending blue. The fact that her centrist Arizona Senate colleague Mark Kelly, who is up for reelection this very year, did not follow Sinema down the road to perdition, became a real sign of her extraordinary path off the trail of party orthodoxy.

It's a New Day for conservatives, after Toto-Trump pulled back the curtain on The Wizards of The Swamp.

I think Sinema knows EXACTLY what she's doing.

Arizona is still a mostly conservative purple state. Sinema is the democrats only hope of holding onto the seat. If Sinema is primaried out and replaced with reliably leftist democrat then the Republican candidate will win.

“If Sinema is primaried out and replaced with reliably leftist democrat then the Republican candidate will win.”

Only if the cheating is halted in Maricopa County.

“I call bull. She is very popular in Arizona and won’t have a problem getting reelected 2024.”

I agree. And frankly, she’ll deserve reelection.

But this “pundit” will be VERY upset when she defeats a leftist in her primary and wins reelection.

But this “pundit” was likely cheering when John McCain defeated his primary challenges and was reelected.

“filibuster reforms needed to enact other Biden priorities “

Interesting phrase

Not reforms to imporve the function of, or to fix a long time problme, or even to make things work better.

It’s to “enact other Biden Priorities”.

The Left doesn’t even try to hide it anymore.

Ed Kilgore is a journalist from Georgia who willingly joined into the ranks of liberals in New York. He had to be bluer than blue, like so many others from red states that went to the Big Apple and thought they got to heaven.

She sure does. Her Republican “friends” won’t vote for her, but Republican leaning independents will in droves.

Sinema definitely deserves a strong Republican turnout in the next Democrat primary.

“Sinema definitely deserves a strong Republican turnout in the next Democrat primary.”

The Democrats do this all the time to Republicans.

I remember the 2018 election. She was painted as a die hard communist. She’s not that bad so it’s hard to explain. Inner McCain? Should she lose in ‘24 a GOP POTUS should offer her the ambassadorship of her choosing.

I have to agree. She is surprising me and many of her other constituents by actually representing us over voting along the party line.

She would do well to go independent and caucus with no party but just vote the issues. The dims have already thrown her under the bus.

Sooo simple to have just one party rule. Why hasn’t anyone tried it?

Sinema’s Arizona is a battleground state that is trending blue.

Wrong. It’s a solid red state under the political control of the McCain Mafia, who don’t mind handing occasional elections to Democrats as long as by doing so they can keep MAGA conservatives out of power. Sinema knows this, and knows she has to vote like McCain to keep her job.
