The Fulton County, Georgia, district attorney is asking for the FBI's help in providing security for buildings and staff one day after former President Donald Trump called prosecutors investigating him "racists" and said his supporters should hold "the biggest protests we have ever had" in cities like Atlanta if the prosecutors "do anything wrong or illegal."
DA Fani Willis and her office are investigating Trump for his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia. A special grand jury will be seated as part of that investigation on May 2.
At a rally in Conroe, Texas, Saturday night, Trump, without naming them, railed against Willis plus New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg Jr., who are investigating his business empire, calling them "racists." The three are Black. Trump provided no evidence of racial discrimination.
"These prosecutors are vicious, horrible people. They're racists and they're very sick -- they're mentally sick," he said. "They're going after me without any protection of my rights from the Supreme Court or most other courts. In reality, they're not after me, they're after you."
In a letter to J.C. Hacker, FBI special agent in charge of the Atlanta field office, Willis asked for a risk assessment of buildings surrounding her office and the courthouse where the grand jury will sit. She also asked for FBI agents to provide security, saying "security concerns were escalated this weekend" by Trump's rhetoric. Willis said her office had already received communications from people unhappy with the investigation before Trump's rally.
"I am asking that you immediately conduct a risk assessment of the Fulton County Courthouse and Government Center, and that you provide protective resources to include intelligence and federal agents," Willis said in the letter, obtained by CNN.

The water in the pot is starting to boil!
Gasp
Trump calls out the Third Worlders for their bogus investigations
They call in the KGB
Fani Willis is a big momma. I can’t see what she’s worried about that caused her to contact J.C. Hacker at the FBI. ROTFL.
After reading and seeing what TrueTheVote released regarding Illegal Ballot Harvesting, I have come to the conclusion that most everyone in Georgia Politics, including the Gov,DA,AG,SOS... are ALL GUILTY and were in on the Big Steal since Day One and are doing everything they can to keep this Covered Up.
THEY ALL BELONG ON DEATH ROW
Send in the FBI to assess the risk..
And they’ll create the risk.
Then boom..
Then be there for the media cameras..
I wonder if these investigators will be looking into the video of ballot harvesters recording them themselves breaking the law? These are votes Trump wanted the SOS to “find”...because the results were so obviously fabricated. So lets see where it goes.
Sounds like prosecutors might be about to do something wrong.
That’s exactly what I was thinking.
I understood what he meant from the original phone conversation - it was a reference to identifying the fake votes. They are attempting to make mountain out of a molehill again like the idiot Ukraine call flop.
FBI to help. Yeah, that will be fair to Trump.
Bingo a look over there moment.
Trump can cut them off at the knees by filing a quo warranto in Fed District Court challenging all of the Senators and Representatives seated in Congress as a result of the 2020 fed election. It turns out the election can no longer be ‘proved’ due to missing election materials required to be kept 22 months. Voting machines access logs? Check. Mail ballots missing? Check. Ballot transfer logs? Check. Ballot harvesting videos? Check.
We all saw the video of Ruby Freeman and her accomplice lifting up the table skirts and opening the suitcases full of ballots and stuffing them in the machines times and times again.
I believe she even ADMITTED IT.
This was after they claimed a “water main leak” and shut down the counting and sent all the Repubs home. Then after 3:00 AM Biden “took the lead.”
We ALL saw them. They belong in JAIL (only because we don’t have any workable guillotines).
Same with the whole SOROS-supported GA cabal of politicos.
That indicating that the DA has nothing. Therefore, he offers up a distraction to implant the image that Trump is really dangerous person. This “investigation” has been going on for quite a while now. If there was any there, there, it would have been discovered by now, and he would have been charged. The only reason it is still ongoing is to carry it past the mid-term elections..
I wonder how the AG is doing investigating the illegal ballot harvesting seen on video and turned in by True to the Vote..........
I suspect he is to busy trying to pursue make believe stuff about Trump, and not busy enough pursuing the actual voter fraud.
This is getting really, really weird.
Both sides know full well the election was stolen - certainly the ones that stole it know.
Yet, they are “investigating” anyone who says it was stolen as insurrectionists?
Most criminals stay out of sight after committing a crime, and hope the case gets dropped for lack of leads. They lay low and hope the bloodhounds lose the scent.
But these criminals are hunting us - anyone who says the election was stolen is hunted down as a domestic terrorist.
Why on earth would they want to even bring the subject up, knowing the truth is on our side?
It makes no sense - unless they have reason to believe that they are safely above the law.
If they are right and the government is that corrupt - God help us.
