Oh dear God. It is absolutely incredible that CBC has gone to the level of stupidity necessary to make the comment this was organized by Putin.
At least they deserve credit for trying to think of things to investigate. However, if your idea of investigation consists of trying to take government speculation and turn into fact you have a warped perception of the power of the executive and need to spend some time at the ocean with King Canute

These convoys and protests are what people do when they are fed up with something . They are hoping that their action will resonate with authority and that will be enough.There are a goodly number of potato chip-stuffing sports watching couch potatoes in these groups. Imagine what it took took to get them off the couch(well you don’t have to imagine, you saw) If authority fails to respond things could get nasty. That’s the next step when appeal falls upon deaf ears. Once the grubby self-servers in govt had the sense of tactical retreat when the little people got uppity. I frankly think they’ll lash out at the termerity of the little people.
