Got snow in the ATL!
Please keep the East coast buried in snow for 6 months.
Damn, we only got 1” here in York, PA. We got gypped!
Since when do snow events get NAMES????
I have a sunny, but cold, day here in middle Tennessee. I think I'll call it "Sunny Day Terence".
..Coastal residents in one Massachusetts town were told to consider leaving
Only if you have had the 4 or 5 fake vaccinations, and make sure to wear a mask.
Hell, in Northern Illinois this kind of snow is just a typical winter day.
I’m here in the southwest region of RI; in bed with the flu and watching the storm out my window. We’re getting some strong gusts and sideways snow, but it is a fluffy snow as opposed to wet and heavy.
My husband has the generator ready to deploy-because we live in a very woody area with tall white pines that seem to snap in half during every gusty storm, and leave us without power for days.
As far as I can see, there’s about 8 or 9 inches so far. Lights have flickered but remain on. No plows, they said they’re not even going to attempt until the storm passes.
Looks like just another winter storm to me, and I lived through the ‘78 blizzard.
About 5 inches in Philly.
I hope it’s not a repeat of the 77/78 blizzard. In that one we got 20 some odd inches of snow. Before storm crews could finish the clean up...only 2 or 3 days later, we got struck with a blizzard and another 2+ feet of snow, a very windy blizzard. People were walking on top of their cars trying to find them.
I’ve got gypsy blood so I’ve lived in a lot of places. My hat’s off to new england storm crews. They are the best in the nation.👍
Waiting for the lights to go out here just outside of Boston. Then I will go out and start the car so that I can charge the cell phone.
“Coastal residents in one Massachusetts town were told to consider leavin’...”
And don’t come BACK, either! And no moving to a Red State, ya hear? *SMIRK*
108k+ without power on South shore/Cape area.
I thought snow was a thing of the past, according to the Slimes...

man that heavy mesoband has parked over the east half of Boston
and should remain stalled for the next few hours
27.8 inches is the record
but Logan airport is right on the ocean and often the official total is lower there because the wind just blows it away
Any updates on tornado ‘Walter’? These people are nutz!
Just watched a live video, someone’s walking around in Manhattan saying “serious snow...real deal!...I’ve never been to Moscow but this feels like Moscow.”
Aside from his dearth of logic, look at the sidewalks and streets. There’s hardly anything. People are walking around, fewer than usual but still plenty of people. They’re not staggering in knee-deep snow. It’s not even ankle deep. One might almost suspect the people are tool users, familiar with shovels and plows.
The guy should buy some pretzels and go home and watch Dr. Zhivago. Serious snow indoors!! :D
