4 10’s like this: half work Mon-Thurs from 7AM to 6PM, with an hour off for lunch. The other half work same hours Tues-Fri. Increased office coverage with everyone working a four day week!

That’s what I chose to work, too. Summertime in Virginia...just awesome.

Probably the most under-appreciated and under-sung profession in the world. I enjoy VDH’s podcasts about ag and working men.

Four day work week? You mean work more days than they do now? Or is this a new plan to just show up or log in four days a week instead of the usual sort of five?

32 hrs per week, would work, and that equals 25% less work/productivity.

Absolute numbers-wise, you would be correct. But, a workweek consists or 5 hrs of lunch and breaks, and people not being very productive the last hour of the workday because they're clock-watching getting ready to bolt out the door.

You are correct with the numbers, but, as we all know, it's also about the real value of the numbers.
