State Dept vows Nord Stream 2 will be a 'hunk of metal at bottom of the ocean' if Russia invades Ukraine

The State Department on Thursday unequivocally warned that if Russia invades Ukraine the Nord Stream 2 pipeline will sit unused at the bottom of the ocean.

The controversial pipeline has become the U.S. and NATO’s biggest bargaining chip in its attempts to preserve Kyiv’s sovereignty.

But reporters questioned the diplomatic agency on whether Germany, which would profit from the functioning pipeline, is on the same page when it comes to countering a Russian incursion.

"We continue to have strong, clear communication with our German allies," Under Secretary for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland said. "If Russia invades Ukraine, one way or another, Nord Stream 2 will not move forward."

Her comments echoed those made by Secretary of State Antony Blinken earlier this week, but reporters pushed back on the ability to enforce this threat given the pipeline’s physical completion.

"It is not ready to be turned on," Nuland said. "It has not been tested, it has not been certified, it has not met the regulatory pieces that would allow it to be turned on both on the German side and the EU side.

Yeah, sure it will. Russia would view that as an act of war directly against them and then EVERYTHING is on the table.

When the electric grids are taken down, Over time everything else follows. But the people are willing to sacrifice that for their god, Lying Joe Biden. Life will go back to worse than it was in the 1700 and 1800s. We do not have whale oil like they had, And over time the petroleum stores will be used.

I can almost believe that Biden’s people are trying to take credit for stopping a war that wasn’t going to happen anyway.
I can almost imagine that our talk about the Russian pipeline infrastructure is REALLY a message to China about our willingness to take out the Three Gorges Dam.

But that stuff is almost 3D chess and while I can think of one politician who is capable of that sort of thing, I do not know anyone in the Biden administration who seems capable of that sort of thing.

No mean tweets. That phrase is going viral. It started from a Kurt Schlichter article.

How could Germany enter into a pact with Russia. It’s unprecedented! It’s ............ INCONCEIVEABLE!

That said, any Sicilian will tell you, don’t enter a land war in Asia.

” I knew it was Nuland, the female Dr. Evil “

Still angry that she got caught trying to install her very own puppet government in Ukraine.

She’s Ookrainian herself. Nothing American about her. Just wants Big Daddy ‘Merica to fight her wars for her over who gets to bury the Ukrainians in debt.

Have no idea why she thinks White guys from North Carolina should waste their lives on stupid crap like that.

And who will suffer?? Germany and the EU countries that gain from the pipeline AND MILLIONS OF PEOPLE.

The Germans had the option of building a pipeline between them and Norway for better, higher quality gas, and without the cost of being a vassal state of Russia. They chose instead to build a pipeline with Russia, and, at the same time, while claiming to want to save the world from global warming, "green"-ified their native energy supplies, even shutting off half of their nuclear power stations this year. The result is that the "green" country of Germany will be entirely dependent on Russia for their "unclean" energy needs. They will be entirely dependent on a country that is a direct and close ally with China, North Korea, Iran, etc., and which overtly and covertly spreads anti-Americanism across the globe.

Does this make sense? This was obviously the deliberate plan of Germany's leadership, and if war occurs, will be used as the pretext for agitating against NATO. They will support Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the withdrawal of NATO from Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, etc. (followed by their subsequent invasion), and the USA will be isolated.

And then the NPCs on this website will go "Diaper Man Bad!", first for "provoking Russia", and then later for letting Russia succeed in just a few years what they failed to do throughout the Cold War.

This is the business of Northern Europe and Russia.

It is not the business of the US.

BY FAR, THE VAST MAJORITY OF AMERICANS WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH EUROPEAN PROBLEMS AND SPATS.

OVER 75%.

This is the business of Northern Europe and Russia.

Obviously if the goal of the Russians since the cold war has been to demolish NATO, if Russia succeeds in splitting Europe from the United States and forcing the withdrawal of NATO from all Baltic NATO allies, the result will be the fall of NATO and the isolation and eventual annihilation of the USA.

If Russia succeeds, you will need to learn Chinese, and quick. Per GRU Defector Stanislav Lunev, the Russians and Chinese have already agreed on how to split our territory. China gets the lower-48, after using biological weapons and neutron bombs to clean up the population.

Yeah, lets bomb their pipelines, and then we can attack their supply-lines, then take out their electrical power infrastructure.

Go Biden...

Its a wag the dog distraction they are trying to sell to the clueless dullards in this country to deflect off all Brandons issues. The fact that we have to defend a corrupt Slavic crap countrys border that bought Hunter and his old man off, but we have to leave our southern boarder wide open for invasion isn’t going to be bought!
