The White House National Security Council was forced to issue a hasty denial late Thursday of a report that President Biden warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that a Russian invasion of his country was almost certain and that he should be ready for a “sack” of the capital city Kiev.
The jarring military forecast wasn’t mentioned in official statements from the White House or Zelensky, but was relayed to CNN by an unnamed Ukrainian official.
“A Russian invasion is now virtually certain once the ground freezes, Biden said to Zelensky, a senior Ukrainian official told [CNN reporter Matthew Chance],” tweeted fellow CNN reporter Alexander Marquardt.
“Kyiv could be ‘sacked,’ Russian forces may attempt to occupy it, ‘prepare for impact’, Biden said, according to this official,” Marquardt went on.
Moments later, National Security Council spokesperson Emily Horne described the report as “completely false.”

President Trump made it an issue, because it was as plain as day, that it’s resulting energy dependence could be a weapon that Russia could use against NATO. Putin has been doing just that with former Soviet States for years - it is regular practice each Winter.
Why pay to defend Germany from Russia, when they willingly make themselves vulnerable, and Russia richer and stronger?
Biden withdrew American opposition. Seems that the world may already be starting to pay the price.

Imho the income of all those actors named- all of them who were skimming NGO money from Ukraine (Bursima as a vehicle for some of it, and mil hardware and “humanitarian” aid as other parts) had their income cutoff when Trump shut down the ambassador Voyanovitch (he fired her) and sidelined the charge’d’affairs.
Such that the money stream was cut off the 4 years he was in office (as their deep state pals impeached him about his “phone call” -the false case made of it,and then managed the impossible stealing of an election to put their chief grifter back in “charge” demented as he is easily puppeteered.
Zelensky knows that Biden (whom he informed Trump of all of Biden’s actions in re: Hunter’s prosecutor, and grift coming through Burisma) was the “connection” for all the others to pull their income from the Ukraine. So now they and their pals in the “intel” illicit money world are running this game. This is a lot of western media kabuki. The Ukrainians had a tough talk with Russians that pushed back against Putin. They know Biden is the same full of crap grifter he was before Trump came along and cleaned him out.
In a manner of speaking they are putting together the income stream again, and willing to have part of Ukraine given over to continue their money laundry. Shameful, from those with zero shame and no concern for the suffering of the non-russian Ukrainians.
Cities haven’t been “sacked” since Napoleonic times. I guess Slow Joe is reminiscing about riding with the Duke of Wellington.

Maybe Joes histerical talk will help Ukraine get off the stick and make a deal with Russia. One that should have been made a long time ago. They give up a slice of land for some free gas and a trade deal. Peace is better than war.
