Populists Revolt Over President Trump’s Proposed Endorsement of Bush Crony for U.S. Congress in Tennessee

There is widespread backlash growing over social media against President Trump’s potential endorsement of Bush-era operative Morgan Ortagus for the 5th Congressional seat in the state of Tennessee.

The National Pulse broke the story of how Ortagus pledged fealty to the Biden regime after the fraudulent 2020 presidential election.

“As I’ve often said, no matter what happened with the election, I was moving on and going back into the Navy Reserves. Now, like most of you, I put the career hat back on (or rather my Navy uniform!) and go in to faithfully serving the incoming Biden Administration. Catch you on the other side,” Ortagus said in her departing email as she left her role as spokesman for the State Department under Trump.

Furthermore, she called her Biden-appointed successor, Ned Price, “fantastic,” telling her former colleagues that they were “in great hands.”

Not from me. This isn’t about one person. No one is indispensable.

No Bushes or Bushites, ever.

She is a Bush League Republican.
Trump is still endorsing them.
It is antithetical to MAGA, but it is what it is.

Has President Trump even hinted of the endorsement?

There is nothing wrong with that email: “I put the career hat back on (or rather my Navy uniform!) …”

She destroyed Adam Schiff when she interviewed him on The View. She was Mike Pompeo’s spokesperson. Other than that I don’t know much about her.

I believe it is ok for MAGA Republicans to push back when they hear that Trump might be endorsing a squishy Republican.

Such push back gives cover for Trump to say to a squish: “I would have supported you, but the MAGA folks are screaming that you are a squish”

Trump has made a number of very poor personnel decisions that hurt him.

I used to see her on Maria Bartiromo show on occasion. She is a typical Bush type, supports war everywhere, and kept praising the Saudis. It can get worse, that’s the highest praise I can offer.

Yeah, she’s not really a fit for Middle Tennessee. Hard pass.

I predict she wins in a landslide.

This is a Trump endorsement.

She was gracious to the new administration. Big deal.

Some of you are so arrogant you don’t care about Trump, well then who cares what you think.

My understanding is, this woman and Naval Officer who served Mike Pompeo and MAGA well was simply being gracious in her comments about the incoming (fraudulent) administration.
To ignore her service to Pompeo and to President Trump and focus solely on a few comments made when it was obvious that Dementia Joe was declared (fraudulently) the winner in 2020 in my opinion does her a disservice.

Another one? Disappointed. He needs to pick strong conservatives, not RINOs and Asst Dems. I’m not sure I am crazy about Pompeo either, after finding out he attended the Bilderberg meeting in 2019. But then Trump was the first sitting president to attend Davos/WEF in 20 years (Clinton in 2000). Trump attended 2018 and 2020.

One has to wonder if Trump is in the king making endorsement business to MAGA or is to solely to satisfy the former president’s megalomania?
