Youngkin says he intends to replace Virginia’s top election official (a libtard activist)

Gov. Glenn Youngkin said Monday he plans to appoint someone new to serve as Virginia’s top election official when current Elections Commissioner Chris Piper’s four-year term expires this summer.

The comment from Youngkin, made in an interview with Trump-supporting radio host John Fredericks, was the first clear indication from the new governor on what he has planned for the Virginia Department of Elections.

In the interview, Fredericks asked Youngkin if he plans to “clean house” at the agency.

“We in fact fully expect that when the current commissioner’s term is up that we will replace him,” Youngkin replied. “We have to make sure the leadership that’s in the Department of Elections is leadership that is looking out for the integrity of the election process and not trying to be political.”

The trailer park crowd was on here calling Youngkin a “RINO” and a “Bushie” and were crying because he beat Terry when they guaranteed that the Democrats would “steal the election.”

Big positive move. Hope he has help from Steve Bannon picking the right guy. Then, whomever he picks needs to sweep out every single crevice and crack of the corrupt democrat/rino /good old boy network across the state...

“We have to make sure the leadership that’s in the Department of Elections is leadership that is looking out for the integrity of the election process and not trying to be political.”

The above statement is as close as one can come to saying that there is WIDESPREAD cheating going on.

“The trailer park crowd was on here calling Youngkin a ‘RINO’ and a ‘Bushie’”

He was. His first actions and announcements were exactly wrong. Campaigning, he promised to end mandates. After elected, immediately he said he’d continue the mandates. People were up in arms and got after him, he saw the light, and changed his tune.

It doesn’t speak well for him; it says he has no conservative fundamental principles. MAGA people will have to take his little hand and walk him through his tenure. I guess that’s not all bad, as long as he does the right thing in the end.

(I think that this week — today? — he appointed a pro-CRT to lead some board or commission — Education, maybe. He’s going to need counseling from MAGA and tell him “You’re a bad boy. Pick somebody better”.)

P.S. I don’t live in a trailer.

After elected, immediately he said he’d continue the mandates.

This is complete nonsense. Some blog post from a grifter made that claim and then the crazies jumped all over it without any verification whatsoever. From Day 1, Youngkin promised to end all of the mandates that he has the power over and he did so. The people who were crying in their Wheaties wanted Youngkin to erase a portion of the State Code that he doesn't have the power to erase.

That was after 4 really bloody years and after massive losses to his own forces. Hopefully Youngkin does better than that.

Our Gov DeSantis fired both Broward and Palm Beach elections crooks and for the first time I can remember we weren’t up late waiting for them to figure out how much they needed to cheat. Over by 8 in 2020.

I wonder if whomever he appoints will be smart enough, and ruthless enough to act like the demo-commies, and clean out all the demo-commies that have been ‘placed’ at all positions to sub-vert honest elections.
