CARLSBAD, Calif. — Carlsbad native Peter Robbins, the voice actor who brought Charlie Brown to life in the Peanuts cartoons from the 1960s, has died, his family told FOX 5. He was 65.
Robbins’ family said he took his own life last week.
FOX 5’s Phil Blauer was a close friend of the voice actor over the past 25 years. He says he had closely followed the voice actor’s ups and downs, from interviewing him in jail because of criminal threats he made against several people, including San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore, to speaking with him when he was in rehab battling an addiction to drugs and alcohol.

Drugs and alcohol ruin so many lives.
Sad. May God have mercy on his soul.
Maybe its just me, but that was when children's stories, TV and movies really were for kids and about right and wrong, not social programming.
I know.... So tragic. 😥
“Rats”
The desire to have short-term fun without earning it or caring about the consequences, and get blasted at every opportunity, ruins so many lives. If only people received some warning to not drive off the sides of mountain roads. If only people could learn from the sad, unrecoverable mistakes of Democrats.
Sad. RIP.
I also remember these claymation cartoons that were on with “Davey & Goliath”. They always had some moral/religious aspect to them at the end. Probably why they are not on TV anymore.
Lastly, the other night my wife and I watched some of the old “Looney Tunes” cartoons from the 1940’s. The ones with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Road Runner, Foghorn Leghorn, Tweety Bird, etc.
Those were all good. Some are really great. One of favorites was “The Rabbit of Seville” a Bugs Bunny version of the famous Opera.
Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy and Linus ARE America - kind, funny, studious/cultured, loving and patriotic!
To the Left, they must be destroyed!!!
For patriotic Americans, they MUST be protected, preserved, and admired.
Thank you Charles Schulz for creating them. When you see Al Capp, thank him too for being a true patriot!!
