Infowars founder and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones revealed Monday that he met with the House select committee investigating last year’s Capitol riot — and exercised his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination “almost 100 times.”
“I just had a very intense experience being interrogated by the January 6 committee,” Jones said on his podcast. “They were polite, but they were dogged.”

Sometimes I wonder how much Alex “drinks the Fifth”.
Taking the fifth....
After the day of hostile grilling I heard he drank a fifth.
I am. He loves to put on a show, but the fact is, he is more informative and has a more accurate track record than any other news out there including Paul Ryan’s Fox.
And he was smart to take the the 5th. Go there, take the 5th, go on with life.
fan or not, witnessing a kangaroo court being hobbled by a citizen exercising their 5th Amendment right is a joy to behold.
i wonder how many drinks shifty schiff had to imbibe, in his dismay?
I am willing to listen to anyone, even those responding with failure to implicate themselves.
Any hearing about January 6th, needs to have sworn testimony by the individual who is responsible for Capital security,
and that person is Nancy Pelousi.
Any conversation short of that specific testimony is legally 'null and void'.
Furthermore, 'it doesn't seek the truth.. only headlines !
I would take the fifth too given who these demons are.
Proper response - give them nothing.
Very wise move.
If you get so much as one little thing off, then they come after you.
Alex did the wise thing.
We should claim Mark 13:11
“But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.”
I think taking the 5th was good advice. Jones loves to talk, and if he rambled on, stream of consciousness, he’d probably fall into some perjury trap about an insignificant issue. “You said you last talked to Trump on January 3rd, but we have record of a call on January 4th! Five years and a $300,000 fine!”
Regardless of your opinion of Jones this is scary that you now can be persecuted simply for talking about joining a protest. Which is all he did. If anyone can link me to evidence where he called for violence I’m all eyes.
That's what they did with Oliver North, who then gave his famous testimony before congress by saying "I lied."
Name 10 things Alex got right the Fox got wrong.
Exactly. Nobody should ever talk to any Fed... ever. Ask Martha Stewart.
I’m not either but anybody that gives these jakals the finger is OK with me....at least for doing that
It is his right. 1/6 Committee is an abuse of power.
HRC “I cannot recollect that”, numerous times!
Lois’Famous IRS’ Liar)Lerner. Pled the 5A and walked with a great Bonus, Pension and zero Gray Bar time!
You are right, “GIVE THEM SQUAT”!
Normally when a witness advises he is going to take the fifth, they will not answer any questions. I suspect he didn’t even respond to a question regarding his name. Nobody should be testifying in this kangaroo court. They are just trying to trap everyone in a potential perjury charge.
