The New York State Supreme Court on Monday struck down the Hochul Administration’s statewide mask mandate as unconstitutional and a violation of state law.
Judge Thomas Rademaker of Nassau County wrote in his decision Monday the Governor does not have the authority to impose the mandate and the state legislature would have to debate and approve laws requiring masks in schools and other places.
Last month, Governor Kathy Hochul enacted the mandate amid an increase in COVID-19 cases due to the omicron variant.

And the medical Knowledge and practices of 100 years ago should not be confirmation for modern practice. It’s like telling me we need to use leeches again.
Somethings are obviously still valid, but I’d like to think the knowledge on viruses now is significantly more then 1918.

I’m just stating what’s coming next. Have you ever known the DEMs to ever listen to what the SCOTUS has to say when it goes against their agenda? At least in recent years, I haven’t seen it.

Yes.
They do that all the time, most recently the Texas abortion law that they sued against and lost. Same with the anti ballot fraud laws in Texas that the Dem state reps fled the state in a futile attempt to stop it.
Plus of course they cant use the courts to terrorize anyone on any law that they already lost at the SCOTUS.
I think one has now been issued!?
